I don't think psychedelics have the ability to interfere with the retrieval or storage of long-term memories pharmacologically speaking. They are inherently non-toxic, they don't negatively influence the developing brain, and they promote neurogenesis and neuroplasticity (the creation of new neurons/neural pathways + the ability for the brain to be flexible, respectively).
If anything they improve your long-term memory.
Perhaps they could blunt the encoding of memories by overloading the brain with sensory data, but this is no different from when you fail to remember something during your Spanish class, because your friend was talking to you which interfered with encoding the memory.
Seriously, the only negative harms that come from psychedelics stem from stress or fear during the experience, or amplifying the symptoms of pre-existing mental disorders. They are quite good for the brain and body neurologically and physiologically speaking.
Cannabis on the other hand definitely affects long-term memory.

No. It can be difficult to remember all of a trip, but it won't have any impact on memory more generally.
