By the way, if you're the person I found in the park in Washington today hanging at the bridge and pointed to a spot where the cyan pins were growing hit me up with a message!

Hello, I'm newbie Nanigenaku, and I'm interested in learning more about mushrooms, and interested in identifying psilocybes in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle. I observed some mushrooms very close to my house, and was wondering if anyone can help me identify them. I didn't handle them or take spore prints. Is it safe to touch mushrooms with bear hands? This is my first post. Thank you for your help.
Species #1: Small Lawn Shrooms
Habitat: In the grass in my yard. I see these very small shrooms every year, and I think I started getting them when I bought some topsoil and compost. Gills: I didn't want to damage them so I didn't look carefully, but I believe they are brown. Stem: Whitish grey Cap: Grey to whitish Spore print color: I need to learn how to do this. Bruising: Didn't try this. Is it safe to hold any mushrooms? I thought some were poisonous. Can I be poisoned just by handling them? Location: A few miles north from Seattle, Washington, USA.
__
Species #2: Poofy
Habitat: Growing on bark on side of road. Gills: No gills, kind of like a ball Stem: brownish Cap: Brown Spore print color: I need to learn how to do this. But, I think these mushrooms create a poof of spore smoke when you step on them. Bruising: Didn't try this. Location: A few miles north from Seattle, Washington, USA.
_
Species #3: white flat caps
Habitat: Growing in grass near side of road. Small mushrooms. These were covered with dried grass. Gills: white Stem: white Cap: white Spore print color: I need to learn how to do this. N/A Bruising: Didn't try touching them. Location: A few miles north from Seattle, Washington, USA.
__
Species #4: Big Broken Juicy Yellow
Habitat: On landscaping bark near side of road. Stem: yellowish brown Cap: yellow/brown/yellow ochre Spore print color: N/A Bruising: N/A Location: A few miles north from Seattle, Washington, USA.
_
Species #5: Upside down
Habitat: On landscaping bark near side of road. Stem: white/grey Cap: white Spore print color: N/A Bruising: N/A Location: A few miles north from Seattle, Washington, USA.

To ID your mushrooms you could either make a post on the identification forum or make a post on MushroomObserver! The bad news is I'm pretty sure none of those are active, but the good news is you're in prime territory for psilocybes! I think your best bet is Cyanescens which has a very distinctive look. You should be able to see plenty of Seattle cyanescens finds by using the search function on this site.
Any mushrooms you find that DON'T have purple-brown spores and blue bruising will almost certainly not be what you're looking for.
It helps to have someone to show you how to hunt, but honestly if you look at enough pictures here and look in the right habitats, you're probably gonna know when you see em for real. People aren't lying when they tell you about the simple habitats you should look for, even though you might not be finding them at first.

Careful with the angle on those pictures if you intend to remain anonymous nanigenaku. The one with the cars pretty much gave away your location.

Saw someone with pruners, overalls, and a straw basket deep in some blackberry brambles this morning...and there aren't any blackberries left.

Thank the gods for the rain finally. Found these in my stuntzii patch:
This is one of the weird ones that were really blueing. Still think it's weird for stuntzii to blue to this degree; perhaps a local variant?

Thank you for your input and help, Spank! Honestly, I thought this was the ID section so I posted here. Could you provide me a URL to the page? Also, Mushroom Observer if you could. I kind of figured these mushrooms weren't psilocybins, so thank you for confirming.

Will do, shroower. I thought that the cars wouldn't be an issue since you can't see the plates, but I will take precautions in the future.

Nice! Are these Psilocybe stuntzii pretty common in non-forested areas? Would I be able to find them near the city?

Cool, I see that mushroom shape posted a lot. The first picture with the small caps, which honestly look super phallic. What is that mushroom called, and is it psychedelic?
