ID Help: Shaped like a Sun Hat with Gills stuck together (now with pic!)

Hi, I'm new here and recently getting into mushrooms.  I've got a lot of wood-chips and logs around my place and always looking for surprises especially after a rainy day.

A new and unusual mushroom has popped up quite plentifully and I'm hoping someone can help me ID it.

-Growing in Northern Virginia, on the ground, in wood chips. No trees close by, just some cut logs lying around.
-On the older ones especially, the gills are stuck together in places.
-Stem bulges some at base.
-Spores are a medium brown color (though the sun shining on it in my pic makes it look reddish-orange)
-Scent is a regular mushroomy smell?  Make me think of dried bread crust.
-Color darkens some when bruised. Not significantly.
-Very center interior color of cap and stem is white.  Exterior colors are light brown, tan, gray.
-Not all the same exterior color: Some have lighter tan and some darker gray.
-Central bump on top, mottled and pitted in spots.

Bonus in the last pic: What's that tiny redhead?

Thanks!

Cool.  Looks like some sort of Agrocybe.  I'm not sure which.

Thanks for the help.

My best guess now is Agrocybe Sororia.

Which others have described as "Odour and taste mealy (not bitter)".
And I would describe as: Similar to honey mushrooms in texture, and taste curious but not disagreeable.

Something that helped in the identification was that after several days of further observation, I noticed that the large bump on the cap disappears as the mushroom grows until it resembles a flat pancake.  And all the dark mushrooms lightened up as they grew too.  After that, they looked more like the pictures of Agrocybe Sororia online.

Then I filled a giant tray to dry...
