Identification Needed. Psilocybe of some sort.
    #26977104 - 10/09/20 01:50 PM (3 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:

Shit field. Around dense patches of farm grass. Norway, Rondane national park. Picked recently.

Stem:
Hollowish. White, blue bruising.

Cap:
Bit slimey. 2 to 5 plus cm wide. yellow concentrating more in center. Bit of a nip. convex/concave.

Spore print color:
Waiting on that.

Other information:
Rained a lot so they were quite wet.

So I looked online and couldnt find anything. Look like serbica. Surely that bruising is psilocin?

These Are Stropharia Caerulea, They Are Inactive, Not Psychedelic.

The Bluish Color Is Not Bruising But Actually The Color Of The Mushroom Itself

They Are Deceiving

Looks like some inactive Conocybe (tenera?) to me, the rare ones bruise blue at least to some extent in the stem base I believe.

By the way, do you know what you are looking for and which species grow in Norway at this time of the year? (I have no idea what you guys have, but I'm guessing P. semilanceata)

That is the strain I'm mainly looking for, but it seems like there are so many lookalikes..

I'm with my camper here, and I do have some cubensis spores that I bought online but I wasnt sure how to use it. Tried googling but still not sure. Can I just inject it straight into a substrate, or does does that sub straight need mycelium growth first? The spores I have were from inner visions.

You Need To Do Tons Of More Research. There Is A Search Bar At The Top Right Of The Site

Oh, & No Such Thing As "Strains" When It Comes To Mushrooms. You Have Genus & You Have Species In That Genus & That's The Basics.

Thanks for the help. Btw for growing mushrooms, will straw pellets that have been heat treated upto 100c, work for growing mushrooms? Or is that too hot?

You'll probably get much better answers from the mushroom cultivation forum. As suggested it's probably best to do a bit of research before posting there.
:goodluck:
