Lots of aborts? Pf tek

So this is my first try. Ive tried to follow the tek to a T. After fruiting I had pins fairly quick but they seem to be aborting. Should I pick any dark ones now? I do mist and fae 5 times a day mostly. I did dunk and roll. Over 4 inches of soaked perlite. Temps are around 70 to 74. Has been pinning for 2 to 3 days.
Thanks for any help. I take constructive criticism very well so let me have it.

Fae is passive and constant. That's what all the holes are for.
Fanning a sgfc is akin to turning the fan on while driving down the freeway in an open convertible.
Its not gonna do much.
Aborts are usually from lack of water. Fold that foil up so it can hold some water and bottom water those.
I dislike the idea of a sgfc because they dry out too quick unless they are packed.

Alright good to know. So basically cut out the misting and fanning? I will fold the foil up a bit.

I would start by using a smaller chamber. You want one just big enough for your cakes. The one you have there could easily fit 12 cakes or more. Fanning isn't necessary. I do mist 2-3 times a day though. Yes moisture is needed. Never thought of the folding up the foil trick though.

Should I remove those or see if they grow? I'm trying to keep it simple. Ill just mist a few times a day. My rh is showing 90+ percent constantly.

This is what I would do .take off all pins.dunk for no more then 6 hours.put them in tote that has no holes and a lid do not add perlite not needed.spray the walls of the tub then place cakes inside.air 3 to 4 times a day (can do more if you want just watch your rh.best way to see if your rh is not to low, look at the sidewalls of your tote.if it has a nice amount of water droplets on the sidwall your fine.do not let any still water sit in the tub.another thing place your cake off the bottom of the tote, use glass or plastic. You can bust out a fat second flush, especially if they didn't even have a first one.I know this is not really proved but take your dunking cakes and set them in the frig. I do think cold shock after first flush helps .don't know why and I know it's not necessary

My understanding is that aborts happen with over misting. 5x per day is a lot. Pick the aborts then do a 90 minute dunk and roll. Put them back in a hydrated SFC. No need to fan.
Misting: When you mist, you should see barely macroscopic (you almost can't see them... grains of salt size) beads of water on the cakes. You should only mist to maintain this "dew" on the cakes. 5x per day is probably overkill and over misting has led to aborts in my experience. Experienced growers on here will tell you that there is no "times per day" to mist. You mist as needed. Train your eye to see the "dew" that you want to see and just keep that state and be patient.

Awesome will do. Im going to give it a few days and if no growth picks up I will strip and resoak. I prob got to hands on like I did when I started growing bud. Now I sit back and let it work its magic and its so much better. Sometimes less is more, at least thats what my wife tells me..
