What is the biggest insight you got during a trip?
Any genuine paradigm shifts?

I forgot.
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

That you are what you eat. That human beings are consumers. Human beings often buy/consume packaged junk food that is toxic to the health.
Humans consume some retarded things. After my trips (especially psilocybin) my diet changed for the better.
I value keeping my own garden and I buy fresh produce from fruit/vege stores. Something I would never care about (have no insight of) if it was not for my trips would be my diet.
I must take caution not to consume carcinogenic chemical products from the lab. Man makes some really toxic products. Human beings are stupid enough to purchase and consume such garbage in total honesty. I must take care of my human and make sure it only consumes natural products, plant based produce that grows out of the earth.
I got to watch out what I feed myself, everything I put in my mouth will have a great impact on my mood and my health. I got to really watch myself.
Everyone in my family is addicted to junk food/have a constant need to buy junk food/are obese and just generally have a terrible routine diet except me. And the things I grew up eating was junk food for the most part.
I was an extremely fussy eater and pretty much lived off white bread and processed cheese slices as a child. Canned tuna between toasted white bread with some hot sauce was pretty much all I ate as a teenager. God knows the amount of soda I used to drink in those days.
No wonder humans get cancer. If I get cancer I wont be surprised at all. All the toxic junk food I have consumed while growing up, that takes a toll on my physical/mental development and health for sure.
Psilocybin mushrooms made me really hyper sensitive of what I put into my mouth. This is a blessing for sure. I'm so grateful for the insight.

In my most recent trip I realized that my father was right.
He and I use to fight about so many things. Now my sons are grown up and I think about our fights. My positions are the same as my dads, and their wrong-minded viewpoints are the same as mine were back then.
He wanted me to be productive. Keep my room and bathroom clean. Be respectful of the house. Attend my classes, take care of my belongings, be nice to my relatives. When I failed at each one of those things, he got on my ass and I hated him for it. I wish I could travel back to those times and just do what he said. It took 3 grams at age 55 to come to this realization.

That time travel was impossable because time itself isnt real. Time only exists because we keep track of it. We are born we live we die but we are in the same exact place we have always been time seems like it moves forward because our own being is limited. The only thing that really changes is living things being born and dyeing and being replaced by more living things and the cycle just continues. We move through life and thats about it.

To be honest, aside from my very first trip, which gave me lots of insight as a at the time 19 yo about what I wanted in life, how much plants and nature were essential to me and how death is coming for us all sooner than later -disappointingly- the most recurring one is that I shouldn't trip or do drugs.
Honestly the one time I encountered an apparent 'entity' it told me to fuck off

On my last 200mcg 1cp-LSD trip few days ago I realized that whenever I feel bad I have the choice to just enjoy life like as if it is some global energy field connecting all humans who all have that option. You're broke? You got dumped? You have cancer? Well, let's just rejoice, sing and dance simply because you can, because you live and because it's fun. In sober state this insight doesn't make as much practical sense than it did during the trip but has something intriguing and I'll reflect more on that idea.

I'll number them
1. That my family loves me
2. I saw every single constellation like they're depicted in Skyrim or illustrated in a book. Its amazing what you see when there isn't light pollution. It made me realize how intrinsic and fundamental classic greek society is to our current experience, in how we understand the world around us and operate in it. Made me start to realize that epigenetic memory may be a real thing
3. I took shrooms, acid and drank a few beers while camping with the lady. While screwing in the tent I had visions of the symbol "Chi Rho". I had no idea what a Chi Rho was or looked like before that. At the same time I had this feeling I lived in antiquity, like I had memories and feelings of being in the Roman Empire. Similar to the feeling you get when you visit your home town or childhood home. Specifically that I was on the fringes of the Roman Empire between conquered Gaul and Germania. between that "home again" feeling and seeing visions of Constantine's golden Chi Rho symbol flash into my mind I began to feel like I was being watched by a pantheon of Roman Gods while I'm screwing in the tent. It wasn't bad... just really interesting. My theory is that I tapped into some sort of ancestral memory chain and those experiences and belief systems of a long ago Roman ancestor flooded into me. Maybe they were the ancestor who had the most impact on the world or something, I have no idea. That experience made me a firm believer in epigenetic memory.

That the conscious and subconscious mind can act as two seperate entities working against one another & this can precipitate into cycles of depressive and cynical ways of thinking.
Mushrooms have helped me out of these types of cycles on more than one occasion. By tapping into & opening an internal dialogue with the subconscious, actively engaging with it. I’m able to better understand why I feel or act the way I do about certain things, while addressing any disparity between the two. Ultimately making them work together in sync.
I can honestly say they have helped me grow as a person & I’ve learned quite a bit about myself over the years. It’s a perpetual journey of self understanding.
I still have much to learn.

My biggest insite has been that you don't understand what a blessing reality is until you loose touch with it completely.

As much fun as tripping is - there is also something eerie about it and even low-key psychotic especially when the trip is not so comfortable. That helps me appreciate soberness and sanity even more.

I think my greatest insight was when I looked into the mirror on shrooms and acid, and looked straight into my saucer pupils up close, and realized that I was literally looking at a loop of light in the universe and that blew my mind.
And then I think the biggest part of having my mind blown was being able to see how quantum gravity probably works, but I cannot draw it without using math first, which I am not a fan of doing much math. I can do it, but I would rather just closely approximately draw what I saw...which, is my avatar (the e8 lattice condensed into 2d)...I saw that at all points in my visual field, and then I really had my mind blown when on shrooms and acid, on the peak, I saw these beams of light like from a projector was coming from the back of my head, but I could never see this, as it is like a dog chasing it's own tail. I couldn't see the actual source of the light despite turning my head around a bunch like a crazy person lol.
Same trip, different insights. That trip lasted 18 hours but felt like 2 weeks, which was awesome because I had a few days off work. Visually speaking, I was basically in the DMT realm for quite a while but I could sort of move around. I need to write a trip report about this. Shrooms can give you amazing insights, so can lsd, but combine them in just the right doses and holy amazeballs. Whole 'nother level

It's hard to pick just one, especially without getting too personal.
Possibly the importance of aesthetics, visual beauty, and related things. I had never really taken visual aesthetics seriously before trying lysergamides. I always viewed it as kindof evil and superficial, and so I never really paid as much attention to it as I should have. It was like a paradigm shift, having my eyes opened on the subject and seeing its true importance. This one seems minor, but it was a real eye opener and paradigm shift for me personally, and caused me to take that stuff 1000x more seriously than I ever had before, and to quite literally view the world differently as a result.
The other one that comes to mind was the realization that my life was on the wrong path, and what the correct path was. Again, a realization I had on lysergamides that was profound and life changing.
On mushrooms, the realizations were things I'm less able to put into words. It was more like a weight lifted off my shoulders, suddenly the whole world and my outlook on it was better. Like a return to the happiness and wonder of childhood. There is no intellectual revelation there, but it was as strong or stronger than one. A total paradigm shift, and different way of looking at the world. I miss mushrooms.
Also the unimportance and arbitrariness of tradition and culture and the opinions of other people, being able to see beyond all these things. Being able to see beyond my own biases, perspective, culture, limitations, beliefs, and ideas, just to know that things outside of that stuff exist, and being able to see and experience things outside of that, was eye opening.
