Northerner said: I once had an entity tell me that none of the creatures in the hyperspace realm could actually harm me. At this point in my life I'd had terrible entity attacks, scorpions, demons, light stealers, real horror show stuff. But that one experience put an end to all of that. I started to view everything I encountered as a new source of beauty. Even my most difficult trips after that, even where I believed I had truly died and that my body was destroyed and there was no way back, still appeared wordlessly wonderful.
As with all in life fear is the true enemy.
Scary entities are just as much of a mind trick as sexy ones. Just the result is far less pleasant to accept.
In one of my conversations with the mushrooms, they told me that demons can't hurt you if you love yourself.

mybe try to be friends with. The reason its hostile is because its in the shadows and unknown. it may turn out to be something you would never ever have imagined it would be...
This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness, Some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!...
The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond. —Rumi

It took a while but this was helpful. While browsing some good shroomery threads and thinking things through I remembered this. My consciousness has started shifting and I'm waking up from a depressive stupor, this is the headspace I used to have and it feels good. Honestly, I like the idea that the all consuming shorts monster is a representation of bad thoughts and despair that I've pushed away for a long time, and they would no longer be ignored.
Whenever someone gives advice I have a bad habit of going "Ah I see now, thanks a lot!" when in reality I may not really get what people are trying to say. I think I finally do, thanks to you all.

You don't smoke it, rather use it like a sage, it can be smoked. Mostly inhaled into the mouth and blown throughout the space, very grounding and protective spirit, one of the more potent protectors.
And I mostly agree with allowing and acceptance of these entities, in most cases, discernment is needed. I once had a guy who I was convinced was a demon in human flesh, he would conjure demons/harsh spirits from an Ouija board and send them into my space to terrorize me, in my dreams, in my waking reality, the attacks would cause me crippling panic and curled in a ball anxiety. I would get scratched on my back, blood on my walls, and letters carved in weird places. I had to fall asleep in the same room of the attacks for many nights, a portal was opened - it was utter hell. I would encounter similar demon like figures everywhere I went occasionally, random people we invited over to an overnight party began chanting my name in a dark room in the middle of the night, weird shit like that.. I lived in a state of true ungrounded terror for a few months and took me a very long time to recover.
One thing of many I did learn from the experience is I mentioned being terrorized and attacked, this is because I was playing the role as a victim, I let it happen, I let myself feed into the experiences, rather than claiming my own power and sovereignty. It taught me personal boundaries, and not just accepting anything and everything from random people, you'd be surprised the contracts and deals you agree to unconsciously when interacting with other people. Claim your own power, one thing is for certain, we can learn from every experience, and every experience can be our teacher if we allow it. This is the greatest lesson
