Yellow Substance on Golden Teacher Cakes

My golden teacher cakes have been fruting for 5 days. Yesterday when I went to sleep the cakes were completely white with the mushrooms growing where pinning happened. This morning I woke up and this yellow, gooey substance appeared all over the half side of the cake. Is this contamination? Pins were not being formed on this side before the yellow substance appeared. Ill link photos below.

There is a heavy smell of wet dirt whenever I open it. Is there anything I can do to safe it?

I'm inclined to disagree that this is contaminated; PF tek is foolproof. IF contaminates were introduced at inoculation, I can't imagine this jar would have fully colonized much less produced fruits (considering the bacteria would have been able to take hold before the spores even germinated, and there would be no other point for contams to be introduced (unless op pulled it out before it full colonized. ) On the other hand... That cake looks sketchy af. The fruit are growing all topsiy-turvy which is usually a tell tale sign of something fucky happening, but it could also be that your cake is kind wonky and not as uniform as it could be.
Either way, you have fruits! Worst case, you have to toss the cake after the first flush. If you tell us which tek you followed/how you did your grow, we might be able to advise better for future grows

I have had plenty of cakes and tray have bac and produce a sizable flush, brf is not fool proof ,where did you get that from rofl ,it's just easier to have less things go wrong.nothing and I mean nothing is fool proof.been doing this for a long time and i still have miss haps .as for the smell ,is should smell like fresh mushrooms not earthy.

It is foolproof. If you follow the tek to a T, the only real vector for contam is what's in your syringe. In my experience, if the syringe is bunk, your cakes are fucked from the start, and it's no fault of your own. Such is the way with MSS inoculation. I'm not saying it's contam proof or failure proof, just that any fool can follow the pf tek and get results as long their syringe isn't too dirty.
I suppose his syringe could have had just a small enough amount of bacteria that it didn't wreck his whole cake but still made it fucky.
As for the smell, my tubs always smell like dirt (using 100% coir) and the mushroom smell (or bacterial smell) is only present after a fresh misting. Maybe my sense of smell sucks, but if it doesn't smell sweet or sour, I wouldn't even consider bacterial contamination.

This is my first grow. I decided to go with a grow bag kit I bought from a trusted vendor on Etsy. I was extra careful on making sure contamination was controlled, but I guess if it is contamination the syringe could've been responsible. I'll post more pics below.

I mist the walls about 2 times a day. One in the morning, one at night. For FAE, I have 1/4" holes placed every 2 inches, top and bottom, around the entire tub. I give it a vigorous fanning every time I mist. Since im growing it in my room, Temps stay around 75 degrees.

Once I harvest them, do you think it'd be a good idea to cut off the yellow goo, dunk them overnight, and see if they can fruit anymore pins?

If you decided to grow from a bag then I would have probably not put it in a tub, it looks like it got way to much humidity and create white mold. More air less humidity. For me it is easier to control from a monotub when you have a ecosystem that needs a lot of attention. I have some bags going right now in my tent but monitor the humidity very closely 80% is my sweet spot. Please keep us updated.
