microdosing protocol check

im around 3 weeks into microdosing using a B+ strain ive done as my first grow (my whole point of learning some mycology was to try microdosing )- ive ground the dried mushroom to try and standardise it somewhat, i weigh this out then make a small tea with it.
im using the 1 day on 2 day off cycle and have worked up from .2 to .4g - so far ive felt nothing at all /nada (im not expecting much from a microdose but a mild mood lift would be nice )
is it simply a case of keep increasing the dosage in small steps till i 'feel' something then backing off ? i dont see many ppl needing to microdose more than .4g in anything ive read so far. i weight around 225ibs (i lift 3 x per week and have done for many years)-is microdosing dosage tied to bodyweight?

With a microdose you shouldn't feel anything and I'm interested to follow this thread.

I always felt something when micro-dosing.
The trick, for me, was to reach a dosage where I felt something but not enough to hinder my responsibilities.
After experimenting, I found that 0.2-0.3g was my sweet spot. I would feel a little lift in this range but it would not impede my levels of necessary functioning.
1) I would suggest sticking to consistent dosing, for at least a month total.
2) Play around with the dose a little. Just make sure you do it on a day or at a time where, if you feel off for an hour or two, it won't ruin your day.
3) Be mindful of the subtle changes. Micro-dosing tends to lead to subtle shifts in quality of life (wake up more refreshed, more confidence, slight increase to creativity, slight reduction in anxiety, etc) that are not often noticed as these changes start small and compound over time.

Pugster, my situation parallels yours in some respects. I recently grew b+ with the intent to microdose. For two weeks I've been taking a .15g capsule every third day. I can perceive an immediate shift in mindset for about 90 minutes after ingestion. Notably colors in nature are more vibrant and I'm more contemplative. Accumulatively through the past two weeks I've had a positive mood increase. Maybe try another method of ingestion besides tea.

I don't want to push the point too hard, but I think MDing almost needs to go hand in hand with a daily mindfullness practice.
Sadly I think but activities have potentially over hyped and lead to unrealistic expectations on both impact and time frame. For me both MDing and mindfullness have had very subtle, slow building impacts on my life. The key has been consistency so that the subtle, slow build is always stacking on top of itself. Leading to an eventual big shift.
But to come back, to the original post. To get the most out of a MD I've it important to clearly set my intention before taking it. Then remaining aware throughout the day and whenever I can checking back in with that intention to see how it's going. I meditate in the morning, part of that practice involves setting my intention for the meditation, then afterwards I will incorporate my MD into that intention. I feel the skills developed through meditation allow me to have a better shot at being aware enough to realise the impact the MD is having on me.
This post was in no way an attempt to say 'you're doing it wrong' but it's a strong opinion of mine that non-psychedelic practices allow us to take full advantages of what psychedelics offer. Especially when dealing with something as subtle as MDing.
I currently eat 0.2-0.25g every three days.
