Hey Fellow Shroomerite's I dunno if any of you have had any luck yet.
I've had no luck looking for libs this year. A poxy 2 little ones. But checked a spot from last year and boom 25g of wavy. I know it's not a very big find for ways. As it's normal around the Oz dry mark.
But it's better than nothing.
I'll post a pic soon.

Spent many hours examining lots of ideal wavey cap habitat near London in the last few days but nothing. Do you know what ideal climate is required, or estimated typical time of year, for these guys? Does it have to be a bit colder than it is in the south east at the moment, like for libs?

I thought It had to be a lot colder. But I Google searched them checked Wikipedia and I'd said between 18 and 10 degrees.
To me knowledge and my surprise that's warmer then libs. I went and checked a spot which is defo UK bred not imported on woof chip And there they was.
Will defo keep going back every week now. It's pretty safe as the man who owns the house died and it is now empty only trouble now is I don't do the upkeep of the garden so have to sneak in and everything is over grown.
I haven't yet looked at the wood chip location.

I've always done best around bonfire night in Yorkshire for cyans. Never really seen them much earlier than the week before.

Hey, have been looking in London as well, around lower Clapton (Hackney). There are lots of wood chip areas, both around the parks and also in forested areas on hackney marshes. Lots of other wood lovers popping up but no cyans.
Where are you looking?

Id defo say they are not liberty caps.
I thought it was early as well. Went to the patch again yester and got 3 more tall mature fruits and couple small ones.
I'm gonna leave it a week or 9 days now so hopefully they be a bumper amount. This year I'm making sure to cut or snap the shroom as to not destroy any mycelium. As I believe me and friends may have fucked up a field or two in the past.

A few more I found yesterday.
This patch should hopefully kick off prior when temps go lower . At the moment it's my only spot producing nicely.

Should I be worrying that my wavy cap patch hasnt started producing mushrooms yet?
The patch I found last year hasnt shown any signs of mushrooms yet could the council have spread it with fungicide or something?
