(pics) should those bruised knots be cut off?

are they in risk of rotting and contaminating the cake? for some reason those knots bruised and they dont seem to be growing at all.

i read RR saying they dissolve back into myc eventaully. that means they should disappear soon?

Looks a lil dry. I suspect you're using sgfc? Maybe rehydrate perlite or whatever you're using and give a good mist to the cake,or even a dunk in water for a bit if super dry. Full grown fruit will eventually turn back to mycelium.

its not really dry as of now just matted. it was dryish few days  ago but it was misted and looks ok now.
there are not full grown fruits on it. im asking if those little bruised hyph knots will revert to mycelium coz wouldnt like the cake to contam from them if they rot
