Hello guys. i have been reading that using LC can colonize grains in 3-4 days??!!
whats the best way to use LC and for what?
is it a good idea to put LC directly into a cococoir sub or will it not do good because there is not enough food for it?
how to use to not mess up moister content?
if i use LC to inoculate my grain like i would MS would it still only take 3-4 days?
instead of making spore syringes would it be more efficient to make LC? right now it takes my jars a month to colonize from MS
how do you use your LC?

LC is an advanced technique that takes some practice. Id recommend using munchs blenderless Liquid Innoculant tek first and then when you are comfortable and have success go on to MushBoys LC or Josex' LC tek.
G2G would be a another good place to start.

LC ain't that advanced. If you can transfer a clean culture from one dish to another, you can drop a chunk into some broth. If you don't have those skills under your belt though I wouldn't bother with LC quite yet.

Hello guys. i have been reading that using LC can colonize grains in 3-4 days??!! It speeds things up compared to agar to grain or spores to grain but isn't going to get it done in 4 days (in most cases)
whats the best way to use LC and for what? Make it out of clean agar, test it on agar and use it to knock up grain
is it a good idea to put LC directly into a cococoir sub or will it not do good because there is not enough food for it? Won't work well. Not enough food
how to use to not mess up moister content? Be sure to not over cook your grain/ load bags or jars to wet. Then be sure not to dump in more than your gain can handle. This aspect has a bit of a learning curve to it.
if i use LC to inoculate my grain like i would MS would it still only take 3-4 days? (NO. See my answer above.)
instead of making spore syringes would it be more efficient to make LC? right now it takes my jars a month to colonize from MS A clean LC will do things way more efficiently than spores.
how do you use your LC? To knock up bags and masters. I then use those to manufacture rainbows, which the world desperately needs right now

As someone who just tried to make his first LCs let me add this: Sure it's conceptually simple and not difficult -- IF you have the right filter material. I had no sfds or whatman filters and tried just covering the GE hole with layers of micropore tape just to find out that this will get wet when shaking the jar. Wet micropore = bacteria highway, right?
You have to shake it, right? Otherwise not only will it grow very slow it will also create one big chunk of mycel instead of lots of fine mycel particles that you actually can aspirate and use.

Lc is a simple concept but itโs also pass/fail. Thereโs no โgood enoughโ grey area like with other spawn methods.
Iโve had one culture that finished quarts in 5 days but every other one took like ten days on average.
You definitely gotta read through a few lc threads to answer those questions.
