Is this bacterial blotch or some other contamination?

Hey all! I'm in the middle of the 2nd flush of my first monotub. The 1st flush seemed totally healthy and contam free, but I just noticed what looks like bacterial blotch on some of the caps. My guess is there was too much moisture from misting and not enough FAE, causing the bacteria to take hold.
My question is, if I discard the fruits with noticeable blotch, are the rest safe to eat (most don't appear to be affected)? There's also some caps that split and some with small white dots.
Would love an experienced opinion about the safety of consuming these (I just ate a small .5g dose from the 1st flush and was fine).
Thanks!

Those fruits look fine its probably just water damage, and you can always just boil the fruits before ingesting to be on the safe side

Thanks for the reply! When you say water damage, do you mean due to bacterial growth in the moist areas or can water alone do that? They were a little slimy to the touch compared to the healthy looking caps.
I also read somewhere that when there's bacteria on a growing fruit and it subsequently dries out and grows more, the cap can crack.
The consensus seems to be that the mycelium won't send anything toxic into the fruit directly, and most contam happens on the surface, so if it looks ok, it is ok...?

Yeah it's just a little bacterial damage from there being too much water, to put it differently.
I'm not gonna say it's safe to eat... but if they were the only mushrooms I had, I'd probably eat 'em. You could boil into tea to be extra safe.

Right on, thanks. One more quick Q...I just noticed a few more where the veil is kind of gray and has a distinct sour odor when I put my nose close. And one with a weird knobby stem, and some greenish blue on the cross-section. Are these also possibly contam?
The first flush seemed very healthy but now it feels less healthy and I'm anxious about consuming.
Thanks again for the replies.

They look fine to me.
If there's really a sour odor, that might be worrisome, but I don't see how there could be if they're cracker dry. Cracker dry cubes smell kinda weird anyway. But I dunno

Yea only they're not dry yet. Definitely distinctly sour (not the earthy sweet smell of the good ones)...to the point where I can't take a deep inhale bc it's so sharp.
Might try boiling, which I imagine would kill any unwanted bacteria? The rest of the flush still seems and smells healthy, so hopefully this is just isolated to a handful 🤞🏼

Yeah boiling will kill enough bacteria for your stomach to take care of the rest.
