Habitat:In short grass next to a planter where I throw my contaminated grain.
Gills: The mature ones look dark gray
Stem: Thin, 2-3" long, looks like there's slight bluing at the base. White at the top slowly turning brownish towards the bottom.
Cap: Spherical to conical, 1/2" in diameter tan with some darkening towards the top.
Spore print color: Appears black from my observation
Bruising: Some display very light brushing at the base of the stem.

They're mildly psychoactive right? There's a ton of them up and down my road wondering if it's worth going back for them.

Going by the convex cap in maturity. I’d say they’re inactive Probably P.papilionaceus.

Here's a pic of a partial print, the bigger ones seem to have a very slight bluish bruise at the very end of the base.

If there isn't dung or manure in the area where you've found them then they're likely not P.papilionaceus. Sorry for the confusion...
You'll need to leave them to print longer. It's hard to be sure if they're indeed jet black with such a faint print. I'd say its worth having a look. There very could very well be a mix of different species where you're finding them, both active and inactive.
When it comes to Panaeolus. It would be best to print everything you collect and when asking for an ID. Separate & number each specimen so its easy to point out any anomalies.

Okay got some better pics of the prints. They do indeed appear to be a deep inky black some even a very dark purple towards the edges.

Anything with dark, mottled gills and an entirely Black spore print would likely be an active Panaeolus. Either P.cinctulus. or P.olivaceus. Everything with more of a dark Brown-Black spore print such as the one on the bottom right of the last picture would likely be an inactive Panaeolus. Like P.foenisecii
FYI There aren't any known toxic Panaeolus species.
