Do I have Covid or Common Cold?

Hi guys,
Has anyone been in this position over the last few months?
Basically, for around 3 days I had symptoms I would usually associate with a Cold first thing in the morning.
Right after breakfast and a cup of coffee though I feel fine. I still do, today was the first day I woke up without that shitty cold feeling although I've been had the sniffles.
A couple of days ago I thought I would be a good citizen (for once) and see if I needed a test. Called my clinic, my Dr called me back and we went through my symptoms and was asked about my circumstances i.e. job, where and who I live with.
I don't have any of 'the big 4' symptoms so I was told to get some rest, painkillers and keep the liquids up. They said do self isolate for 48 hours in case symptoms do occur.
The big 4 being fever, loss of taste/smell, headaches and coughing.
Normally I wouldn't give a shit but seeing as we're in a Global Pandemic and all... got myself some Vitamin D supplements today. I'm in Europe BTW and the emphasis is definitely now on testing.
Has anyone had just your average cold or whatever during all this, I'm still young 30+... just wondering if I might actually have it and be asymptomatic.

Do you have allergies?
I have cold/flu-like symptoms upon waking up, especially if I slept with my window slightly open, because I have pretty bad allergies at this time.
Throughout this whole pandemic I've had a few episodes of such symptoms, some being worse than others. Some I knew for a fact were allergies, others I attributed to a cold or irritation of the throat etc for whatever reason.
I don't believe any of those episodes were COVID and they all cleared up within a couple of days.
I'd say if your symptoms get worse, get tested. If you fear infecting others and are unable to get tested, quarantine as a precaution.
Otherwise, go about your life. There are a million sore-throats, headaches and the like out there, most not being COVID related at all

Cool, good to hear some feedback.
I can get similar morning affects on a cold night if I leave the window open for example.
I'm at that point in life though where I know my body well enough to know when I've just caught something, especially the common cold after having it a tonne of times since being a kid.
Combined with that is the consistency during the last few days which points toward some kind of bug.. Ah well, I did what the Doc told me to do.
I don't wanna spread it to others if is Covid. Not to mention getting it myself.
Pretty sure I can beat it but it has some funky side affects for some folk, even for relatively young people. Plus the inconvenience of quarantine

Some people can easily mistake themselves for having a cold or some kind of sinus infection for covid. If you feel really bad and have a mild cough, sore throat... get tested. And don't go into work.
We have had people come into work telling everyone they feel like crap, have a cough, etc. They get sent home and end up testing positive for covid. You would think since we are in a pandemic that you might have some consideration for other people and DONT go to work if you are feeling really shitty. Apparently some people have a disconnect when it comes to knowing their body and what it is telling them. And if you haven't had this happen yet, it's a matter of time before someone comes in sick. Gotta love people...
