Is there any legal way to get san pedro or peyote cactus in oregon? Is it safe to order online or should I get it in person? As long as it isn’t advertised for its mescaline Is it safe to buy? If buying locally what type of shops/stores might carry san pedro/peyote?

You should check the laws for your state regarding San Pedro, in the UK it is legal to have them as long as you don't prepare it for consumption.

Ordering online would be your best bet.
San Pedro and other Trich cacti do not grow easily in Oregon due to the rainy climate so its very unlikely to see them at plant nurseries.

Join the trichocereus groups on Facebook and folks'll get you great deals on potent plants.
Peyote is illegal but everything else is good. True San Pedro can be stronger than peyote anyways, and grows way faster too.

Ebay is loaded with active cactus again. They just banned the word "trichocereus" so just search san pedro or bridgesii. Get to know what PC pachanoi looks like so you can avoid it when seeking the real deal.

I just read your post. I am a collector of psychoactive cacti, and I have some live plants and one cutting for sale on eBay- look under "Echinopsis peruvianus". I am seller beeare-8. I have several more plants ready to make cuttings. Ebay does not accept Trichocereus peruvianus or Peruvian Torch in your title listing.....this is because some states, like California, have made the plant illegal. Check Oregon laws, but you should be ok ordering from eBay - from me or some of the other sellers.

Peyote has some kind of bonifed religous usage law that makes it legal to grow and consume if you get a document notarized.

You need to have a certain % of Native American blood and get it notarized by the church.. they won't do that unless you are legit native american and wanting to seriously practice.
You should just order san pedro, real deal south american stuff. It's very potent anyway and grows and transplants easily. You can keep them inside as well near a window that gets good sun. Or just order like 8 feet and make a gram of mescaline.

Hey bro what's this about California making Peruvian torch illegal? I just bought some at Home Depot last month!
Do you have a link or something? I couldn't find anything in a quick search. All lophophora are illegal in CA, but not other mescaline-bearing cactus AFAIK.
Some of the biggest pedro/torch nurseries in the USA are currently doing business out of CA.

Yeah Im definitely sure that Cali has San Pedros and other psychedelic Trich cacti for sale openly. Theres also wild San Pedros in South Cali and a lot of people grow it in their yards for decorative reasons.
