Some gill shots would help. But assuming they’re mottled brown-black like as Panaeolus typically are. Then I’d say that they are Panaeolus cinctulus.
Welcome to the Shroomery!

THanks for the replies peoples
Sorry yes meant to put up some gill shots too.... I was in isolation for the past few months in the Dublin mountains and passed my time taking an awful lot of shroom pics, just difficult to keep track of them all! Think I may have found a few varieties aswell... though no liberty caps grew on this this land.Found some varieties I cant figure out too. Might start a separate thread for them, so I dont confuse this one.
Thanks,K

Are you talking about the ones on left of bottom pic, with the more wavey gills? Yep they could be foes indeed, not entirely certain what these were. All the shrooms picked were found in august, and I never actually took them, as at the time I wasn't certain what they were. I just used them all to spore more fields in the end . I did a lot of spore prints, during the month and discarded any that didn't spore jet black. My plan was to get so many i was certain of that even a foe or two, if blacked spored, when dried and ground into the lot wouldn't really effect the overall batch.
I knew the bottom of 3 were obviously not pans, but was just trying out spore printing to see if i could learn before coming here.....or trying them.
Heres what I spored that day:

and this one too:

laid out:

and the prints:

Hope Im not posting too many pics.... have 800 pics taken !

So are all pans that spore black active? Seems most of the pans i find, maybe 90% spore jet black. If so thats great!

It is also if they grow in grass or soil I believe. Black spores inactive pans might be found in compost but they don’t look just like pan Cinctulus

Yes, but they are wildly different in how they can range in potency. 3g might be just enough to trip, or enough to be very high. The one's that don't print like that are probably foe's that have that kinda black with reddish brown spore print that are inactive.

Ah that's great, keep finding pans that spore back all over the place, and my fave field has lots of varieties but the cinctulus are the most common. cant wait till i get to try these next year as Ive tossed them all back to the field recently . was a bit spooked by the local police I really only want to microdose anyway going forward for a while, but will try figure out their strength slowly.
Also found some of these:

Im thinking panaeolus olivaceus are the dark ones?
and the round ones here on the right are pan cyan maybe?

not sure what these ones are, found under a sole small fir tree, but in grassland...

Ive yet to ever find proper lib caps in ireland, just keep going to wrong places at wrong time, but there are pans everywhere
Thanks, k.

Anything that prints jet black and looks like your first three photos is what you want.

Pans are very common and not well understood. What we can tell you is that pan sub is what to look for. Currently doing some research into some lesser known varieties that grow in my area.
