Ordering aa sterilizer into Canada

Anyone done this in the past month? Seems that customs has changed laws or something. A friend of mine was able to get one a month ago but now not anymore. Have tried forwarding companies still no luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

Order a non electric sterilizer, pair it with a cadco burner.

My 75x came through just fine, it would be helpful if you knew what the specific problem was.
Edit*
If you can find some AA941s in Canada you can buy two of those plus the conversion equipment to switch from PC to sterilizer, plus two Cadco burners for the price of one 75x.
My 75x all in cost me ~2k, I'd still rather have two 75x 's though, I fuckin hate babysitting the heat dial.

Either way there's a dial on the 75x or the cadco. Once its set it should be basically forget.

The difference is that the 75x dial is a preset, any burner dial is a guessing game trying to get the heat so that it holds steady without fluctuations....or is it? I haven't run the 75x yet...

OP its actually been a while since they stopped exporting to Canada as they are not CSA approved. I am surprised a re-shipping company wouldnt to it however. Maybe try shipitto.com? Do you have any friends in the US? Thats also an option to send to them and they re-send it.

They will ship non electric sterilizers, the reason they don't ship the electric one is that it doesn't meet canadian electrical code. They have no problem shipping non electric sterilizers as there are no restrictions on them here.
I used shipito to get mine.

It's not preset. Depending on the load and external ambient temperature you'll have to adjust the dial anyway. The 75x is just a built in burner. Same function as any separate one

Lol off topic but the 75x seems to still need a bit dialing/attebtion on longer cycles. Tends to gain a lot of heat. Never set and forget really.

Id find out what canadian breweries, wineries, and tattoo artists use to sterilize.
In America a lot of them use presto and AA equipment rather than autoclaves

Weird. They must have just stopped. I opened a support ticket specifically to verify that it wasn't a prohibited item, they verified that they had no problem sending.
Just order an AA PC and then purchase the conversion parts.

Hopefully it won't take long for people to realize that they went full retard with their end of the world preparations. Making 100s of jars of roast beef and turkey stew probably isn't as fun as it sounded in their heads.

Pretty sure its from the influx of people trying to cultivate shrooms. Lots of mycology related supplies are sold out

I doubt this. I think it's much more likely a bunch of people are prepping and what not due to the pandemic. I think within a year or so there will be plenty of second hand cookers for sale.
If not, then they will step up production over time to meet the demand
I got my AA941 from cookstore.ca it was a pretty damn good deal with free shipping. But this was back in May. If you can get on a wait list now though and you're desperate it's probably worth it.
I've been using a cheapo $50 burner off Amazon (not a cadco) for several months now to run mine. I plan to make some safety modifications on the hotplate but it's held up for now...the AA 941 fully loaded is so heavy though, some people may not be comfortable running it on a tiny burner

Just spoke to them on their site chat thing. It's only 6-8 week lead time, that's not awful, it would give you time to order the sterilizer conversion parts.
