Does the presto 16 qt pressure cooker model number 01745 get to 15 psi? It doesn't come with a pressure gauge. It is the older one in the yellow box.

The adjustable regulator automatically maintains 5-, 10-, or 15-pounds pressure.
Isn't it amazing what a quick google search can reveal?

Been using that exact Walmart model Presto for 8 years.
Works great

There is a pdf owner's manual for it right on Presto's site.

Not having a gauge shouldn't be a deal breaker. They're not that accurate, not even the ones that All American ships. The jiggle valve is more reliable. If for some reason the PC is leaking enough to keep it from reaching pressure, you'll know it without a gauge.

Yeah i have read this before, i also recommend getting on one of the shroomery sponsor pages and find a vender that sells the sterilization rods. They are like a mini test tube with a some material in it shape like a ball, every time you PC, if you reached 15psi + it will melt and change shapes, so after you PC you can check this tube and see if proper sterilization was met. I used to have a Presto 16 or 18qt, cant remember, and the jiggle option was awesome. once you do it a few times you know exactly what jiggle sound you are looking for.
