Is this a mutation ?
    #26963693 - 10/01/20 11:23 AM (3 years, 4 months ago)

Hi to you all, fist of all; if this post don't belong in here, I apology.
I want to show you this;

So; long story short;
I make spawn grain of AA+.
I make the substrate
Put them in trays since I don't have a mono tube at the moment.
And let the time pass.

In 8 days the surface was completely colonized, and I turn the lids of the trays to "vent" them, in retrospective I should be do more.

I notice the following problems;
  • The grains of sorghum smells a little bit like a fermentation
  • There was too many heavy drops of water on the lid of the tray
  • As the day passes, strong rhizomorphic mycelium goes thin and looses strength.
  • An amount of water full of metabolites appear in the bottom of the tray.
  • In the last week or so, some insect like fruit fly's as been seeing on it.

This is the eroded mycelium for the excess of water on the tray.

And two close ups of the mycelium recoveryng

And here is the tray on the end of the fruiting cycle;

And in here some close ups from the fruitings;

And in the cut of the crop, I found this;

I have to shout out the experiment, since I have the potential risk of damaging my tubes.

So I let in here as much of pictures I can, so if anyone is interested in this, please post it.

I harvest the mushroom and I am waiting to see what to proceed with them.
