Well it finally happened. I accidentally transferred two of my clones to the same plate. The rest of the donor plates went to grain before I noticed my error.
Oh well, I guess I can get clones from the jars when I fruit them. I'll probably still grow this plate out so its not wasted. They are both melmak clones (including my beloved ravioli clone) anyway.
But man I had literally just recovered these cultures after they were accidentally frozen a few weeks ago

Every day something in the life of a farmer... can you just cut a section of each and do another transfer

nogoodnamesleft, I could, but the problem is I don't know which wedge is which clone. I suppose I could separate and grow them out to find out, but I'm lazy. I'll just get another tissue sample from the fruits.
Adas, I definitely wouldn't say they handle it just fine. The entire culture looked dead, not to mention most of the water in the media separated from the agar when it froze, which left me with a thin rubbery agar layer floating on top of water. Luckily, I didn't immediately throw the plates out, because within a few days mycelium started to regrow from under the wedges.

Threw in a gram of dried shrooms in each of these weed cookies when I made them. Anyone ever baked? I'll report back if they were a success lol

Met a dude who went to cullinary school but makes a living selling hash/mush cookies with a tincture drizzle. One of the best cookies I ever had. It works well enough at least lol

Playing with ovoids again. Had some leftover mix from my subsecotioides (fir pellets, local shredded birch, coir, and manure) and decided to see if they liked it. This is under 4 days. About to go out and pull quebecensis chips from the outdoor patch to bring inside for an experiment...

Left the house for a few days and am greeted by this:

Holy sidepins batman. I don't even know how to harvest these, using Bod's unmodified tek so far.

First pins coming in on the inaugural APE tub. Been wanting to cult this variety for a year now. Idk why I waited so long.
If even half of those knots will mature, it'll be a damn good pinset for MS

Yeah I dont expect much outta him but I'll keep it around just to see what happens. I'm logging all my tubs this round to see which ones perform best. First time actually using agar to grain and it's been a fucking peach so far
This one preformed best out if the 20 qts and I have two more 66 qts that haven't fully colonized but have a good feeling when they do.
