Hello Shroomery!
Trying psilocybe tampanensis for the first time and want to start with LC.
the specs are below. how long should i generally wait before harvesting stones?
many thanks in advance.
-Temp 75-82F (I wanted to keep them at 82 in a incubator to speed things up) -3lb Myco Bag Rye Berries -4.5lb Myco Bag of Brown Rice

I would advise against the incubator, they're really never a good idea. Mine did fine in my basement at 60f.
As far as harvest? Whenever it looks gnarly as shit and you can see a bunch of stones pressed up against the jar. Maybe a couple months? Honestly don't remember it's been a while...

sorry but i have to ask as my curiosity is peaked. why you would advice against the incubator. wouldn't it help colonize faster?

There's an entire huge thread on stone producers -- you should look it up because everything you want to know is discussed by the pro's in it. Stones, if they appear, can be harvested when you see them... but almost everyone says they increase potency by months of sitting in the sub-- I'm letting my Atl#7 sit at least 4 months (rye jar) before I even consider opening it up.
There's a fine line between higher temps speeding consolidation and contam vulnerability-- most seem to say that when you use temps like that (maintained artificially) you're also potentially making much better conditions for bacteria and molds to take over before consolidation can occur-- besides, so what if it shaved a single day off the time if you get contaminated in the process.
Keeping in the 70's is probably better if you're still going to heat it--
