Clone C4 tub isnโt quite ready yet but itโs dropping a few veils, just waiting for the gills to get a bit darker, want to get some prints. Assuming potency is there, this guy is a keeper. Clone 3 and 5 on the other hand are not going to make the cut, too slow and not enough yield from what I can see. Will post some contrast pics soon.
More C4 setting up

Holy shit! Thats impressive. How does one aquire one of these prints? I've been wanting to get some AA+ going because I love the way they look but these are much more aesthetically pleasing.

Well I went ahead and lopped the C4 tub. It wasnโt bad, 2200 wet is pretty decent. I could have let some go a little longer so Iโm pretty happy, am curious as to the dry weight. Itโs not quite the replacement I hoped but I bet I can coax more from it. Hopefully potency is good, will be testing soon.

Got a couple more tubs of this coming up, will be definitely doing more soon. C3 and C5 pics coming soon as well. As for prints I may be open to doing some trades soon however, I see threads with these constantly in the marketplace. Should be pretty easy to find someone willing to trade or even donate a print.

So to illustrate the edge clone C4 has, here are clones C3 and C5. They were spawned the day after the C4 tub on Sept 16th. But they still got a ways to go, especially the C5.
On the flip here is another C4 clone that was spawned on the 19th

C4 seems to be a keeper for now.

Thanks for showing side by side the results of your cloning ! This realy helps give me some motivation . How are you keeping the original clone if you don't mind me asking. I'm assuming you take a clone then transfer a few times and keep at least one in storage while you put one or a few to grain to test out ? Sorry if this is a no brainer man. I just don't wanna miss part of the process of testing cultures out properly. It's one thing I have yet to do correctly and thoroughly .

Short term itโs just on a plate in the fridge. Longer term I get clones I want to keep on a slant and just expand working culture.

Oct 6th So I pulled the C3 tub in two stages. They are drying now. Total came in at 1800 and change, a little under the C4 tub. Still Iโm fairly happy to have some fruit in hand either way.

The second C4 tub was also harvested, came in a little under the first but still pretty good.

I just realized since I have no real objective with this log I have no idea what should be itโs natural conclusion. Iโm feeling a bit

Lmao, just roll with it and document what you feel is relevant. It can evolve naturally from one topic to another.
0.5 ish + Dry isnโt too shabby for two tubs at all... nice.

Well the C5 clone finally came in and was decent enough. However Iโm thinking C4 wins, still need to test potency but that will hopefully blow my mind. C6 and C7 will be going to liquid soon enough. Also APE C1 and PEU C1 are both looking ready for grain soon. Gonna be getting busy before winter.

So for now C4F9 will get the nod for further expansion while I simply hold onto C3 and C5 until potency tests are completed.

Have you noticed if clones are pretty consistent fruit to fruit potency wise? Like I know with ms you could have two shrooms next to each other with vastly different potencies, but since thereโs still a good chunk of strains in a clone wouldnโt that still be true?
I guess the best way is to compose a dose from a bunch of different mushrooms to be safe but I always wonder about stuff like this.

Clone potency has always been very consistent for me. Other variables have had little impact on potency IME.

I was lucky enough to score a print awhile back. I made some agar ppasty plates and a couple transfers, and now have them in WBS. I cant wait to see these beautiful bastards IRL.
