Brought a gallon of this home from work.
This stuff is excellent at sterilizing surfaces.
I am going to experiment with using a very dilute amount when I spray down my flats to see if I can use it to keep things contaminant free.
At work I use in my evaporative coolers to keep them from building algae, I clean irrigation lines using clean in place protocol and general disinfectant
Hoping the utility crosses over

I read a LOT of horizontal vs vertical hood threads before I got this. The truth is that the only actual upside of a vert for mycology is that you can put a nice sized screen beyond the plexi in front of you.
When I am working in the hood, the cart will be beside me in an L formation with the hood. Imma just have d3's agar tek on a loop with a couple of other agar gurus I like to watch. I intend to channel that shit.
The tv will actually be on its own rolling stand as soon as I set it up. The cart will be free for things like the sous vide keeping my little media bottles warm while i pour. The idea of a bucket with hot water in the flow hood doesn't sit well with me. I figure I can wipe down the bottles with alcohol as I take them from the sous vide and into the flow space.

Nice. I couldn't afford any of their horizontal units except a plastic one, but this motherfucker came CHEAP. its got a scratch in the paint and they gave it to me for a song AND it shipped as fast as a Terra U would have...

Heated magnetic stir plate may be small enough form factor that you can keep it inside the hood...this is the direction I’m going to go as it’s what is here already.
Congrats on getting the good deal! Always awesome when something like that comes through
I got the ValueLine hood from Terra Universal, it’s plastic, but I don’t mind that.
I have plans for the unit once I outgrow it’s space.

This is what I was telling Ted to get for loading grain into spawn bags.
4qt scoop. I think it was classified as "restaurant" item.

Will this mix up some bulk sub? Found it cheap. Looks like it’s never been used. Will mix 160lbs of concrete, so I bet it would do a few blocks of coir at a time.

total game changer! I have a 3L one and I love it!
here is my new dehumidifier I have already posted it in a different thread but I guess it fits better in here. I am super stoked since I am not the master builder and only have a jigsaw and no work bench either but it turned out alright (don't tell the shrooms that its not level tho lol)

Could you shove an insulated igloo cooler in there and mix while pasteurizing?

Ive used one for gourmet sawdust substrates lots of times and it works very well indeed.
I bet it would work just fine for bucket tek coir.

AA 50x Induction burner The rest of the supplies for d3monic agar tek.

Waiting for a smaller rolling table that will hold the 50x so I can keep it closed and roll it over to the flow hood room which, in a week, will be in a 10x12' room with positive air pressure and HEPA on the general room intake.

thanks. i thrive in an organized environment. If you saw my desk or my bedroom closet, you'd assume I was just a slob.
But my kitchen, my lab, my growrooms, my kids' lego table are always meticulous. I am selectively OCD. i am hoping that is a real asset for me on my journey.
