Is this contamination, or bruising?

I have this tub of mycelium cakes that looks like this:

At first I was thinking they were just bruised, because I hadn't been keeping the humidity in the chamber high enough. But it's been getting a bit worse in the last few days even though I've been spritzing them 3 times a day or more. I'm spraying a mixture of 10 parts boiled water and 1 part hydrogen peroxide. When I birthed the cakes they were a beaauuuuutiful white color and smelled perfect, except for a couple spots where the white hadn't made it all the way through the brown rice substrate. I noticed these spots after I started birthing, and I didn't think that would make much of a difference, so I birthed all of them anyway. Do I need to add more water to the vermiculite at the bottom? Spray them like 6 times a day for a few days? I have a temperature gauge and hygrometer in the tub, and the temperature is around 70 degrees and it says the humidity is usually between 80-90%. Anyone know the issue?

what's with the 2 uncolonized cakes?

I started birthing the cakes because I thought they were all ready, but then noticed a spot on two cakes that weren't fully colonized yet. I decided to birth them all anyways because I didn't see that as a big problem, just reduced yield.

Am I watering them the correct amount, and with the right method?

No, you're basically doing lots of things wrong here. First off the cakes shouldn't be in direct contact with the wet verm, your cakes are probably spending unnecessary energy trying to colonize the verm underneath them (you can check this by lifting one of them up) place your cakes on top of lids, piece of aluminum foil or whatever. And ditch the peroxide, that stuff is used precisely to inhibit microbial growth so why would you think it would help the myc? It's a toxin for God's sake.. And for the kind of setup you are using you shouldn't need to mist more than once a day very lightly if at all. How big are the FAE openings in that tub? Conditions inside look very dry..

Oh I forgot to mention that I did actually put the cakes on top of the jar lids before putting them down on the vermiculite. So we should be good there. But yea the tub is fairly dry right now I think. How can I reestablish the water levels in the vermiculite? Could I pour slight amounts of boiled water down the sides of the tub evenly so that it soaks up that water and keeps it moist inside?
Also, I don't have any holes drilled in the side of the tub, because I found a guide that said I don't need them with my monotub setup and assumed that was fine (now I'm regretting it lol). I have the lid somewhat open so that air can flow from one side to the other, but not so much that it would let out all the humidity. Do you think it's worth it to basically take my cakes out, resoak them for 12 hours or so in water and in the fridge, then drill holes in the casing like most guides suggest? Or is it too late for this flush now and that would only harm things?

Just replace the verm with an inch of plain water and you'll have yourself the optimal fruiting chamber for BRF cakes, you're not that far off anyway just clink on the link called 'Water Tub' at the end of this post in my signature. Gl
