LC shelf life, senescence, long term strategy, and routine care

Can someone provide insight on how to keep my LC fresh? Literature or anecdotal... anything helps.
Tradd Cotter, shroomery posts, and other sources I've read vaguely just say that LC is good for a "few weeks" or a "few months". The long term maintenance of the cultures is never clear to me.
What is the easiest way to maintain my healthy LC long term? What if I wanted to use the same culture over 2-3 years? Should I transfer a syringe of healthy LC to a fresh LC mix every 3 months? Refrigeration? How often can my LC sit without agitation/stirring?
My success with LC over the past 12 months has been great. I'd like to use it for everything moving forward, my operation is growing, but I want to avoid as many pitfalls as possible.
So far I've has ZERO contamination as a direct result from LC. LC from multispore syringes, isolates, clones.... over a dozen strains... all successful. Gourmets, cubes, cordyceps. My recipe is nothing fancy, just 3-4% honey in tap water. Mason jars+polyfil. Recently I started using stir bars which is fun. My mix is sterilized at 15 psi for 15 minutes.
Thanks

Best method is to just make a fresh batch of LC from a clean agar wedge whenever you need one. I've had LC last at least a year in the fridge, probably longer.
If you're making LC from multispore syringes and having luck, that's great, just know that it's luck your having. You should always take cultures to agar first to ensure they're clean if you want dependable success, especially when going to LC.

It's definitely given me a false sense of confidence.
Everyone seems to have problems with MS LC, so I try to get to a clone a good tissue and transfer the wedge to LC ASAP. Seems ok for the first month or so? I've met more experienced cultivators that still inoculate LC from MS syringes from time to time.
What do you do after a year with your refrigerated LC? Do you remake it? Slant>Plate>LC? Or just move on to something else?

I've never really tested the limits of how long LC will last, but yeah I'd probably go back to the slant and make a new one. If you can get it into a syringe though I can't think of any real reason it would "expire".

thanks. I'll update this unpopular thread if I make any headway on answering these questions.
