First Trich Shoebox?

Hey y'all. I had a grow that was B+ MS->BRF->Coir/Verm in a shoebox started on 8/8/20. Had a decent first flush, but received feedback that the mushrooms needed both more light and FAE. So, I placed a plastic bag with some holes at the top instead of the plastic lid, and placed the shoebox in the windowsill.
Stupid mistake, I know now. I had become distracted and unfortunately some hours later, I found that the substrate had essentially been cooked. It was really bizarre because the myc that was on the surface took on this strange, waxy sheen that it did not recover from. I would like to understand why it reacted that way.
(Not sure you can see the texture too well in this)
Anywho, it smelt like cooked mushroom and grossness, severe blue bruising (should have taken a photo), etc. Took it out of the sunlight/heat, heavily misted it, and placed it on a shelf with a grow light that I had found lying 'round the house and of course was upset that I didn't try harder to look for it beforehand.
Today I see this:

I'm feeling like this is trich, but would like some confirmation if possible, just so I know for the future. I'm really sad about it cause I was excited about these pins:

TL,DR: Is this trich? If a substrate is overheated, is there no salvaging it? Did the myc "melt", is that why it took on a weird waxy sheen?
Thanks for all of your help! I appreciate it!
Also, we will be moving at the end of Sept, with no more planned birthing of mushrooms so I don't think I have to worry about a contaminated grow space now, haha.

Yeah it's full of trich the second picture. You never wan't green in your tub. Your myc probably died on the surface because of the heat but in most cases it should able to flush after a good mist. Unless your spawn has been contaminated, which might be the problem in this scenario.
BTW if your room has a window, you don't need a light for the mushrooms to grow.

I guess this will go all green the next day(s). Of course it works with a plastic bag, look bod`s S3 link: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=25274461&page=0&vc=1#25274461
Either it was bad spawn, or you made stall air. For now don`t mist anymore, and only open outside. The fruits are fine to pick as far as i can see.

If you bury outside in a nice shaded spot could get some growing outdoors.

Update: Just wanted to thank all of you for your input! I went ahead and took them outside, buried them under another layer of coir/verm in our big compost pot and now they're growing!

As well as the trich, haha.

Today I threw out a one of my substrates that got trich. What should I do with the shoebox? Is it salvageable?

yeah just clean with soap and water. And be mindful of the trich spores. Start AGAR work and you can isolate the good stuff from the bad stuff
