Best way to keep a spore/culture library over long term?

The title pretty much says it all.
I would suppose it would be spore prints kept in some way. How can you preserve them for the longest time possible? Freezing them? How long do they last?
Or is there some other method? I don't really know why I want to have a library of mushroom spores/cultures, it just seems like a cool thing to collect, but kind of defeats the purpose if they're not viable for culturing.
Any advice?

Cool thanks for the tip. How long do they last and how to store them? Can they survive freezing?

For years, and in a fridge. I don't think any mycelium can survive freezing although I may be wrong.

I've heard that spores only last for about 3-5 years, so maybe vacuum sealing them in a bag with a silica packet and storing them in the fridge could extend their life, this is purely speculation though.
