None offered a great debate, and the mediator kept cutting trump off which was really pissing me off, even though I don't like either candidate.

There is literally no point in arguing with budmanman. He's an angry white supremacist who deliberately says controversial or just flat out absurd things on the message boards, hoping that someone will challenge him so that he can say more edgy things. Back in the 90's, we used to call it "trolling". It's a sad existence. I pity the fool, honestly. I've engaged in discussion with him before, and the only thing it taught me was that arguing with the dude is only serving to give him a platform for spewing his garbage all over this wonderful message board.

The sooner we stop replying to him, the sooner he'll just go away. He literally only has an account so that he can troll people, and he contributes nothing of value to the political conversations he thrusts himself into.

Migrating from political forum thread-

What a complete shitshow.. Out of control, smh for an hour and half.

The biggest issue was the moderation. He could not get the debate under control. I don't feel like I learned anything about their stances, it was constant interruption and pot shots, mostly from Trump.
They should turn off mics when it isn't their turn to speak. It's messed up that I didn't hear half of Biden's responses..

Trump is simply more forceful, aggressive and outspoken. Immaturity mixed with smooth-talking manipulation- Just about every answer he gave, he twisted the subject, went off topic, and found a way to make himself look good. So frustrating.

Couple things that weren't fair, imo-
.Comparison to past presidencies- The environment and circumstances are not the same.
.Spending that much time talking about family members? Totally inappropriate, has nothing to do with a presidential debate.

Biden Blunders.. He was great at the beginning, good at the end, had a few slurring moments, not being able to get the words out.
Honestly, I think this will influence voters- Who wants a president that can't get through a speech?
There were a few times that Biden had the opportunity to destroy Trump. Whether his mental state or professionalism impact this, not sure.
But watching him really reinforced my belief that he is an empty puppet. There's no substance.

Did Trump ever tell the white supremacists to stand down?

Climate change. I am happy they added it to the topics, but I wish more time was spent on it. This is where Biden could have walked all over Trump, the moderator barely scratched the surface when it comes to the devastation the Trump Administration has had on our environment.
This is another place where Trump completely diverted. Q: Do you believe in climate change? A: Cali wouldn't be on fire if they raked their leaves.
The thing is, most of what is burning is federal land.. He kept bringing up the need for Environment MGMT, so let's go!

In conclusion, I believe what transpires with both covid and economic recovery, in the time between now and election will greatly impact voter's minds.

Probably not a good idea to convince the world your opponent has dementia, then lose to him in a debate

Im watching it right now. Trump arguing with the host is funny as fuck

Biden definitely did better in my opinion. Much clearer answers from him (thus far). But so far, its a shit-show with all the talking-over each other going on.

That was so painful to watch.  I cannot believe that was an actual real presidential debate.

It was very painful to watch (mostly because Trump kept interrupting everybody).
The only reason I watched 70% of it was because I knew it would be historical (for better or for worse) and I wanted to be part of it so I have a better understanding of everything going on.
