safe to consume after 6 months soaking in lemon juice?

Hi everyone! Question for you pros and/or chemists: Hypothetically, if some shroom powder had been marinating in lemon juice for 6 to 8 months in the refrigerator, would it still be safe to consume? And if so, would it most likely be totally inert after such a lengthy process? Many thanks!

Unless is was pasteurized or had an antimicrobial additive its probably a cesspool of microbial life.

Even discounting bacterial contamination lemon juice will have long ago converted the psilocybin to psilocin. The latter is much more sensitive and prone to degradation. There's almost certainly no actives left in your mush.
