The real questions: Do you know how to make clean spawn? What's up with all those bags of grain piled in the tubs? Fresh air? Your carpet is going to mold under that plastic if you grow for more than a month or two.
Why would the carpet mold? should I get rid of the plastic? I would like to avoid that. also yes I know how to make clean spawn. the bags are just being stored in the bins.

Is it an apartment or a home? Do you own it?
If you own the home call and HVAC person if your home isn't 100 years old. It has ductwork for more than just heating and cooling.

"I agree electricity isn't a big deal. But here's why it's a big deal..."

The power draw from those lights aren't crazy, they aren't real grow lights. Just regular bulbs and sometimes even less power still, LEDs. Even if they were crazy heavy lights there are a million hobbies that consume more electricity than mush cult.
Pay your bill, don't steal electricity, and carry on in peace.
As for the rental inspection bit, that is more of a concern. I would just have a very well rehearsed story about your growing of edibles (black poplar is a good look a like) and be convincing. It's all self contained and doesn't impact the apartment in any way so as long as it's not against the rules 9f the complex to have any type of cultivation hobby then it's doable. I've never had a lease that said anything about growing house plants or anything else. Fish tanks yes. Anyways, it's up to you, but if you think you can pull it off smoothly and won't be suspected of anything go for it. If you are at all sketched out about your ability to finesse your current situation then wait for a better place. Lots of people cult in apartments though. One time I saw a guy move fifty tubs into a uhaul truck then move them back in when the day of work the landlord needed to do was done.
Be smart, be safe, and grow GROW GROW!
I must of missed the part where he went into detail about what kind of lights he has and how many. I just saw an entire wall lit up and wonder if there were other walls the same way.
But you seem to know all the specs big man. I'll let you take it from here. I'll step in when he mentions power tools, like your dad should have done before you cut your finger off kid lol

Moisture can get trapped under the plastic and get nasty. I have seen this in bootleg grow rooms. Even under nice tents sometimes when there is a spill... and there is always a spill. Carpet sucks.
Maybe try a roll of Tyvek to cover the floor.
In general, the heat and humidity in there with no ventilation and spore load is problematic.
Is there a wall that has a closet that aligns with another closet in a room with a window? Thats the best place to put a hole through a rental...easy to hide for inspections and easy to repair when you leave.

I saw that before it got deleted. I'm a noob with mush, but VERY experienced with marijuana growing. He was right, cops don't go through electricity usage nor do company's hand it over without a warrant as that is not in their bottom lines best interest. As for the other shit, I thought it was funny and kind of on point. That dude tried to dig at him personally and he fired back in a measured yet entertaining way if you ask me. Clearly he was trying to get under the guy's skin a little with the way he was saying it, but he did it nice enough.
Don't go personal if you don't want people to poke you back.
I disagree with . Lame edit. That shit was funny. I think on topic is on topic, and his posts have been on topic the whole time till the guy said something to try to start shit, and even then he brought it back around to the original topic in the same post. You should be able to reasonably respond to people when they say stuff. Are we not adults?

anyway, is there a better way to prep 9 or so bricks of coir at once than doing damion5050 x9? I wanna do what Ted said and have bigger days with nothing in between. thinkning about heating up 9*4 quarts of water in my brew kettle and dumping into a trash can and mixing with a drill. it would be cool to see some tek that involves putting a brick of coir + 4 quarts water into like an oven bag then loading the bags into a drum steamer.

Yes, I took readings in a room with 50 tubs, 10 x 10 room, and it gets over 2500 ppm when the door is not opened, in just 12 hours. The rest of the house is are 500-700, and outside was 400 roughly.

I use a 5 cu. ft. cement mixer in my basement. They're not expensive. It just takes a lot of grunt work out of things. I just use warm water now, mix and dump into large tote then do the next batch. A mortar mixing attachment also works just fine on my 3/8" corded drill.
Get one of those mergency snow shovels that you keep in the car and assemble as needed and leave half the handle parts off and you get a nice unit for loading totes too.

I’d look up I think it’s eats who’s got a method for using whole trash bags as liners. Cutting them gets old super quick plus his way you can just yank the corners and the sub flips right into the bag.
You definitely might want a van and a storage unit rented under a different name than the apartment on standby to clear out ASAP if something comes up.
The smell from the dehydrators is gonna be wild. I think we’re all used to it but I remember throwing 300g of wet shrooms from my first shoebox into the dehydrator and when I came back to the room a few hours later started dry heaving instantly.
Now I like it though. Along with the myc smell that floods the room when you mist tubs.

Honestly, a storage unit would be nice as well for storage of mush cult supplies when not in use. I used to live in a smaller apartment, and even running a smaller 10 tub a month setup I would find myself wishing I had other places to store tubs and jars when I wasnt using them. Provided the unit is like a 5 minute drive away or something.
But yeah, I agree it would be a life saver if an inspection comes up

How much can you prep with your mixer? I'm pondering how I want to upgrade my substrate mixing routine and I keep thinking about cement mixers. Was looking at some like this https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200624040_200624040
Currently using a mortar mixer on my drill to stir up buckets 1 at a time which works well but isn't fast. Ok for spawning 6 tubs, less ok for spawning 60
