Can’t wait to trip in the snow * 1
    #26960308 - 09/29/20 01:03 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

Well if it snows this year that is. I’ve got a big hill by my house that I’ve finally cleared enough to sled down. I’ll need enough snow to make a bank at the bottom though so I don’t slide into the creek.

Ever tripped in the snow? What’re your favorite things to do?

it's fun, for like 10 minutes.

my favorite thing to do when tripping in the snow is to go back inside.

I know this will sound crazy, but one time in Texas (it snows very rarely there) there was a pretty good snow by Texas standards. It was perfectly still, no wind, and the flakes were about the size of a half dollar coming straight down! We were on some really good LSD and we could actually hear the snowflakes falling through the air. Then we went for a drive just around the couple of blocks in my neighborhood (DO NOT DO THIS PEOPLE) and when we got going to about 25-30 MPH (30 was max MPH for us and quite frightening actually, lol) it looked like the star field in star trek or star wars coming at us! We would just exclaim OMG and woah! It was truly trippy! Also when we would look up the snow was incredibly trippy, in the streetlights as well! Fucking phenomenal! Snow + LSD (or any psychedelics) = FUN!

I love being out in the snow or looking out the window at it during the come down, it's such as peaceful way to return to earth.

Y’all wild lmao. I wish I could find some L but I’m so bad at socializing irl. Mush doesn’t really give me a whole lot of visuals aside from the occasional trails. Corona has made me so isolated I haven’t really talked to anyone but my parents, gf, and shroomery peeps since it started, need to find some tripping buddies lol.

Sometimes on my break days I’ll just put the back seats down in my truck and lay in there for a while. Feels like a safari when you can hear all the birds and shit lol

Listening to the insect choir at night while tripping is balls deep psychedelic.

But when it snows the insects don’t play their nightly orchestra

We used to get about a foot a few times a year when we lived a little above 4000 ft but down here in the valley we’ll get maybe a couple inches in a day if we’re lucky.

Those fuckin katydids can suck my ass I just want some peace and quiet once in a while :witch:

The nice thing about tripping in the snow is that the snow kind of breaks your fall. The problem is that the snow covers the stuff that ultimately caused you to trip. You just have to walk a bit slower and really take your time. A good set of mittens makes a big difference.

I enjoy getting all bundled up in a snowmobile suit and trekking out to the middle of a frozen lake. I lay down on my back, look up at the stars and listen to the ice make all sorts of strange sounds.

Drill a hole in the ice, then put your dick in the hole. Sure it’s a little odd banging a frozen lake, but somebody has to do it or there wont be any new lakes born.

Or I guess you could fish through that hole, that seems more common for some reason.

When I listen to ICE it’s the type the puts children in detainment camps, so peaceful.

Re: Can’t wait to trip in the snow [Re: Yeetusdeetus]
    #26960580 - 09/29/20 03:40 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

It was December New Years Eve 1999/2000 at an undisclosed location in the Midwest (America). My friends and I were at a rave being held at an old toy store (warehouse) it was below zero degrees that night and steady snow falling all night covering everything several inches deep at the start of the evening but almost a foot deep by the next morning.

As we arrived another friend who had already been there a hour or so announced he met someone selling acid. There had been a lot of supply recently going by the name white fluff. I asked for 4 hits and gave him our money. I planned to consume 1 hit and save the rest other times. There was a miscommunication my friend thought it was blotter paper but the dealer was selling drops of liquid from an eye dropper bottle and wanted to administer onto our tongue directly. My friend didn't want to come get us from across the crowded party and explain, so he decided to make his own blotter by ripping small pieces of paper from a flyer and had the dealer put equal drops onto the paper, then he brought them across the room to us on top of another piece of glossy rave flyer paper.

When I put out my hand he proceeded to slide all four hits of misshaped paper onto my palm. What the fuck i exclaimed! I looked at the roughly torn edges and odd shaped paper. I was expecting perfectly square hits wrapped in aluminum foil that I could tuck into my wallet. he explained to me why they looked like that. Oops I realized all 4 hits were now soaking into my hand. I had not planned on this. Sorry he said shrugging.

I just said oh well and ate them all. About 45 min later I was beginning what would be a 3 to 4 hour peak with great acid mind clarity, a pure and spiritual trip (tough to rival) and a lengthy trip at around 10 to 12 sleepless hours long well into the next day. I didn't know that soon chaos and mind bending visuals with complete loss of reality were on their way--including communication with aliens via snow covered plants...

Just as my peak was starting local police raided the event. We first noticed something was off when a person dancing near us was suddenly tackled and we saw a flashlight swinging around as they were pinned down and cuffed using a plastic cable tie. My nearest friend and i escaped out the back through an emergency exit. We could not find our other friend and my winter coats was locked in the trunk of his car because I didn't want to carry it around the event. We quickly escaped out the back. Colorful lights of police cars reflecting off ice patches above black asphalt parking lot were beautiful and mesmerizing and put the laser lights inside the rave to shame..

I almost forgot to run and paused to stare at them when my friend yelled at me to keep up. We quickly climbed a 2 story fence surrounding the edge of the parking lot and crossed a snow covered field watching other party goers doing the same escaping into the night as large snow flakes fell all around us clouding our view. Luckily my friend had only taken stimulants he was clear headed and had a plan--to get to his jeep which he smartly had parked outside the event on a street in a near by track housing neighborhood. As we got in the jeep the engine wouldn't start (I assume it was too cold or something). My friend seemed dissapointed and I felt very indifferent to the situtation and was more confused than anything else.

So we gave up on the vehicle and began our 4 mile trek back to my parents house during a substantial blizzard. As we walked down snowy roads away from the event in baggy snow soaked Jinco jeans and t-shirts with glow sticks tied to our backpacks, police cars flew past us in the opposite direction heading to the event we were fleeing from. None of the police cars ever stopped or even slowed to look at us it was as if we were invisible and also invincible--they just rushed past us, their lights making large saturated streaks of light that slowly faded persisting for quite some time after they were gone.

walking up a hill my vision began to split into two vertical planes I was both walking up and down into two realities yet somehow traveling between them (imagine like seeing double but instead of horizontal doubles they were vertically laid out and overlapping with 2 horizons). At times this became sort of kaleidoscopic and then melted like dripping wax. I just kept walking face first into and through these visuals knowing that we were making some kind of progress even though it didn't appear that way. I had no idea where I was but my friend knew where to go and i trusted him so i followed.

I was not worried by this point and took comfort in his presence, I think if I had been alone would have been a really rough time. I remember I did not feel the cold and i was actually sweating profusely for most of the walk. Even the danger of arrest didn't worry me as I thought some sort of game was being played between the police and the ravers (it somehow all felt very trivial and unimportant). As we reached highway overpass watching the cars shoot by like space craft. I marveled at the ingenuity of man that we could build a network of concrete veins across the earth and vehicles that allows transport of people and things just like the blood rushing through my body.

The earth was our flesh no separation. I felt god-like in that moment. After passing the highway we entered the snow covered tree lined neighborhood and I could finally understand where we were. This was where I grew up. This is when the aliens started to reveal three dimensional symbols to me by pushing the edges of the characters of their alien language out from the the trees and bushes. The shadow and highlights on the green foliage of bushes would jut out in a very specific shape at a similar pace to a typewriter pressing ink into paper. Then the symbol would recede back into the bush followed by a new symbol. I couldn't understand the meaning of the symbols but I was very excited and had a sense that it was a very special gift the beings were bestowing on me.

It felt very ancient and it felt sacred. I told my friend about the alien symbols and asked if he could see them too. No he replied and chuckled at my misunderstanding. As we pressed on I looked at the window of a car that was parked under a street lamp. the window was frosted over with flattened ice crystals forming on either the outside or the inside of the glass I did not know. The street lamp illuminated the ice crystals and I saw many rainbows of intensely saturated colors at the edges of the crystals. Their angles pushing in angular shapes like tiny buildings and roads and resembling computer circuits of glossy metallic microchips.

I began to see past the ice crystals and staring into infinity. As I drew another breath I exited from the infinity within the frosted window and was back in my body beside the car. I realized there was some connection between my breath, the visuals, and my connection with all things. We eventually made it back to my parents back yard--my friend stopping to smoke a cigarette before we sneak inside. While he smoked, I sat and stared at a bush in the back yard, it was still communicating to me with symbols but not as frequent and not as pronounced as before. I felt the trip getting much less intense and my thoughts becoming more sharp by the minute.

We went inside and talked at length until after the sun came up and eventually off to bed. The next day we called our friends and discovered no one had been arrested and all had made it home safe. A good start to a new year. Strangely this became one of my most favorite trips even given the stressful surrounding circumstances.

Never managed as it snows about once a year here, but I would think mostly the cold would get to me. That said, I'm sure snow would be amazing for a short time no doubt

Never tripped in snow, it sounds fun :trippinbawelz:
I have, however, tripped in blazing heat once...it was actually insane. My sweat was holographic and dripping off of me, I couldnt feel the temperature, I could have died....but was still one of my best trips ever lol
