Why unfortunately, I was sincere in hoping you don't get, and wouldn't wish a serious illness on someone. If my words came across that way I apologize, that would be real shitty thing to wish oh on someone. Glad you made a full recovery if you did catch it. See if you can get antibody tested to know for sure, if you're so inclined.
Seriously, be well RealRoll.

Going by username and posting style, I'm gonna go with 336.
We were about due for another visit from him anyway..

He was notorious for making multiple accounts. Wouldn't be too surprised if it was him talking to and arguing with himself sometimes, lol!

Legally they can not ask you why you are not wearing one because medical information is private. They can however not allow you in their business because it is their business after all.....still is bullshit and I'm on your side tho.

Dont sweat it too much.
I went shopping a few weeks ago and 100% by accident left my mask in the car and I got so used to it being on my face that I didn't even notice it was off until I was about to leave.
I spent probably 30 to 45 minutes walking around in a very busy grocery store and I was literally the only guy in there without a mask (we have a city wide mask ordinance).
Thinking back I'm still kinda shocked I didn't get cussed out.
Ho
Did you just call me a ho??

Nope man. Meant to write "holy cow" etc and never got back to it.
Hope you become less reactive in the future and remember I love you bro.

There are almost 50 million elderly people in America.
There are over 70 million obese people in the US, with 100 million overweight.
There are over a 100 million with COPD, cancer, heart disease, hypertension, immunodeficiencies, diabetes and other risk factors that leave them very likeky to be hospitalized or worse from COVID.
Everyone wearing masks offers these people, who unfortunately are now the majority of the country, a chance to still be out in society fulfilling their needs, putting their money back into the economy, without feeling as much like they're risking their life in order to do so. Masks allow those of us who live with extremely high risk people to keep living and working with far less fear of being a vector that will kill our loved one, and again, be out putting our money into the econony.
If you're still confused about how well masks work, google searches will bring up over a hundred peer reviewed studies going back decades, and many recent ones. They are not perfect, but they are more than efective enough to severely lower the likelihood of spreading (and even possibly getting) the virus.
No one is happy with the situation, but directing the anger at the one thing that is slowly helping us get out of the mess is not helping anything.

Amen.
I think it says so much about a person that they would direct anger and mistrust at something which decreases the suffering in this world.
A definite litmus test for kindness, IMO.

amen.
i think it says so much about a person that they would immediately come to the defense of and direct praise at someone who's going around threatening strangers to have them investigated by family members in law enforcement for no reason.
a definite litmus test for police affiliation, IMO.

Niffy baby! We'll be down in Dallas the week of thanksgiving. Coming in on Saturday and leaving the Friday after thanksgiving so there's a couple of days we could meet up possibly.

Oh snap

I may be going to Michigan to get together with my dad's side of the family but I'm still very much on the fence -- I may opt out of that and if I do I will let you know. Keep me posted!!

I think this initial story is an exaggeration... if not clearly the woman was out of line. If it was her laundromat, or she worked there I would ask to be allowed to finish drying anything, bags for anything wet, move on to another laundromat, there's always another one.
Personally, I also am forced to use laundromats, I use one that does full laundry service, I drop off clothes, they weigh em and give me a bill, I pick them up the next day washed, folded, button ups/polos hung and pressed if needed... totally worth the cost.
