ID Request - Panaeolus cyanscens (?) - Southeast USA

Found growing in cow manure on a slope, Southeast USA, within 100mi radius of GA/TN/AL border. There were dozens of patches with identical mushrooms so I am really anxious to know what species I've found, especially note the blueing towards to base of the stem. Thanks for any help!

Either pan cyans with some pan antillarium mixed in, or all pan cyans. pan antillarium is inactive, not too toxic. But you'd wanna make sure you just saving the pan cyans. Look for obvious blue bruising as they turn black and bruise very easily.
Congrats! Definitely wait for a TI though before eating any.

Thanks guys! Yes, most of these are definitely turning a blue hue all over after they were harvested, with especially dark blueing on the stems.

Someone I know tried these mushrooms and declared no activity from 15g or even 30g (wet). Is this ID erroneous? Could a TI give some insight?

Were they on medication? Cause those are 100% pan cyans

This person is taking a mild, daily dose of an SNRI. Does anyone have experience with such combinations and the expected outcome?

SSRI and SNRI have both been reported to reduce the effects of classic serotonergic hallucinogens like psilocybin, lsd, and dmt.

They can dull the effect or completely cancel it out.

Not those three that you picked right? Because that's probably like 10 fresh (if that even) that you took a picture of. Which with p cyan is enough to trip.
But yeah there SNRI will stop the trip.

No, others were used but they also showed blueing and looked identical to the ones pictured. He took 6 fresh mushrooms close to that size with no effect... then took another 3-4 fresh on top of that. Still zero activity. He's very disappointed to have learned all of this info over the course of a few years and finally found his first active in the wild... only to be denied this magical venture into parts of his head that he was so looking forward to experience.

6 should have been a wild ride for sure. I know it sucks for your friend man but maybe its for the best right now. In time if he can get off the meds (the right way) and be in a better place mentally, then the experience will be that much better. I dont think you would have wanted to be an accessory to your friend losing his mind and having a psychotic episode... right? All things in time, your buddy just needs to focus on himself and his well being at this time.
