Hey, I wanted to say thank you for the quick reply to my query! I ended up deleting the post, because I had wanted to get one posted with pictures, but you didn't even need them!
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!
Best Reagards, Phil

Will do, although I'm 99.9% certain you got it from just the notes; but here's a couple of photos. I understand your knowledge is hard sought and should be respected, so I hesitate to trouble you further, but I do have a couple of questions that I can't seem to satisfy myself on, so I will ask: Would you be kind enough to tell me, are actives in Georgia always going to be in some proximity to dung, or do they actually grow in the woodlands? And do all active bruise noticeably blue (is this a reliable screening method)?
I'm a noob in this hobby. After spending years looking for actives (I am always on the look out and hike a lot) I've decided to grow some, so that is how I came to find this site. And I am now hooked! The whole science of mushrooms is absolutely fascinating to me. My new hobby, and I couldn't be happier. And with folks like you who are willing to share their expertise, its just that much better. Thanks again

You're in my exact shoes from a coupla years ago. You're def in the right place, I got all the information i needed and more from here. The search box is your is your friend! start by looking through old GA Active threads. I'll shoot you a pm to help get you started.
And yes you're lucky to live in the wonderful state of georgia where we have quite the variety of active mushies, a number of which don't require nasty dung to fruit.
