Help with Identification
    #26955156 - 09/25/20 09:50 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

Please help with identifying these shrooms. Harvested in the southeast after rain in cow patties. Thanks in advance!

The top one is a Leucoagaricus or Lepiota species, I’m a bit out of practice.
The small collection looks to contain at least one Panaeolus cyanescens and maybe 3, and a couple of what could be Psilocybe cubensis, but I wouldn’t bet on it without better pics

Thanks for the response. I feel like the last two pics are Panaeolus cyanescens. They had heavy blue bruising on the cap and stem after harvesting and the spores looked to be black. Below is the only other picture I have of them before drying.

Pics #3 & 4 Are Panaeolus (Copelandia) Cyanescens, Pic #5 Shows A Heaping Haul Of Panaeolus Sp, Most Look To Be Panaeolus (Copelandia) Cyanescens.

There Are No Known Poisonous Sp Of Panaeolus, They Are All Safe To Eat, But Be Aware, These Little Guys Are Very Potent

Nice Finds

P.S - Toss The Ones In Pics #1 & 2

To Make Sure You Only Keep The Active Panaeolus Sp, Toss Any That Don't Show Bluish Bruising Where Injured/Damaged

Hell yea! I was pretty sure they were Copelandia but it's always nice to have a little reassurance!! Thank you for your help.
