I pastuerized 16 tubs lastnight.. took all day to cool. about 60 more to go using pastuerization
i would save 3 days worth of work just using warm water. this takes about 4 hours to hit 140, then it has to cool.

Measure out the coir and dumo it into tubs while hot. It'll cool a million times faster when divided into smaller amounts. By the time you finish dumping enough into each tub the first tubs will be ready (if you're making a bunch of tubs). Either way, it'll help save a lot of time.
PS. you can also spawn while the coir is still pretty warm.

Jumping in to follow.
I would cook and pc ALL the grain required in 1 or 2 days.
Prep all the coir in 1 or 2 days.
So all your tubs are at the same stage. So youre not jumping around like these 5s are knotting, those 8s are pinning etc etc. Also the bulk of your harvest will take place all at once in a time.
Efficiency is getting the task done in one shot.

proceeding like this, if all goes well he is gonna need massive dehydros or multiple after he spends all day harvesting and cleaning
I'd suggest spacing them out a few days, based on your compacity to dry them

I cant even imagine some of yall that harvest dozens and dozens of tubs a month. I have like a 10 tubs a month rotation with a few shoeboxes here and there and even that keeps me really fucking busy between the agar, making enough spawn, spawning tubs, harvesting, etc.
I commend you all that go BIG big

yes, look like trich came from beneath.
i'm giving it another try on a few tubs,
is it possible for unpastuerized but fully colonized coir to infect the peat/verm casing?
'almost' Only my unpastuerized tubs triched out last time..

isnt it a massive grow? massives dehydrator for massives grows. IME working with the unappropriated tools make any jobs a pain in the ass.
im working in the construction industry and pay the full price for the right tools and it makes my life easier.cheap small plastics tools are made for grand pas working on sundays building birds houses. And a 100 tubs grow is surely not for the sunday hobbyist.
OP in your position,I would not case and do straight coir.

I think I’d rather do a small chunk of work each day than bust my ass for a few days straight and then wait around a few weeks and be swamped for another few days.
I could see wanting to knock it all out at once though.
Another benefit to staggering them is you can make adjustments based on the earlier tubs. When I first started I knocked up ten jars for shoeboxes, the first one finished in nine days and the last one took a month. I definitely learned a lot about dialing things in from the first few which helped out with the later ones.

Hi all, my main concern right now is the CO2 levels in the room which is completely isolated in the house (no windows near by). I’m Thinking about using Ca(OH)2 as a co2 sink but I’ve also considered using plants, attaching a venting system to the intake vent for the central heating which will run through the entire apartment and pull air from outside of the window about 8-10 meters away. I’m gonna worry about the substrate when I get there. It honestly should be fine, I ran my 2 pressure cookers 25 times for 2:30 to make all my bags so I should nothave a problem just starting up 5 tubs at a time, besides the bags are colonizing are different rates. Some are done colonizing now, while some are only 50%. I’m just worried that the co2 could really build up, I recently ordered a CO2 meter and a big air purifier which should move ALOT of air around the apartment so maybe everything will be fine without requiring me to take drastic measures. Stay updated with the thread and my journal to see what’s happening as this grow moves along ✌️

Following also, best of luck to you. Im currently working on something similar, haven’t grown in awhile but just been studying new teks and trying to keep it simple. My question is, has anyone tried unmodified tubs in a climate controlled clean room? (oats/CVG), With proper FAE of course.

How big are your PC's? It would surely cost you a lot less electricity/gas wise just getting a larger autoclave, a 50L autoclave is like 150$ here

Led lights are great as long as they’re near the 6500 range.
Cheap powerful and cool running.
