Agreed. Remember when I fruited my bathtub all the flushes went in waves from the shallow end to the deep? I started to notice that thicker subs tended to pin slower than thinner regardless of spawn ratio. Never done anything super controlled but it’s something I’m definitely going to mess with some more. Level is best nonetheless.

I can't wait to see the write up :takingnotes:

@Munchauzen, do you have a tek for those bigger tubs that you use with the 2x shoe box sized tubs inside of the bigger tubs? I saw on your last cultivation photo's that you have a few on the go and would be great to understand your methods. Looks like a easy maintenance method?

I'm about to try this method for the first time today, so excited to see how much easier it is than the "classic" way.

the thing with the scissor when you cut it at the end, after mixing the sub

pure gold

And pure comedy gold, thinking about how many of us, have probably slowly cut around the liners or used a bunch of other retarded ineffective annoying methods

Are you using heavier duty bags?

Do you remove the tape from all the holes when it starts pinning?

Yes they are lawn and leaf bags.

No the tape stays on the monotubs while they fruit.

Hi,
I saw you video on monotubs and the very impressive results. Do you just cover the holes in the tub using micropore tape right from the beginning or do you cover with something more or less airtight until colonisation?
Obviously it would be way more convenient to just stick the tape on until harvest.
Just used covered holes which I opened and stuffed with polyfill so far but would love to try something else
