thats how I did shoeboxes for years, but you will regret adding holes. the holes often create way too much FAE. the imperfect seal around the top/bottom container is all the FAE you need, given you don't fully tape it up.

Yea but this is my first tub ever Shortly after that I did a monotub and wrapped it in plastic foil, sealing all the holes. It's about double in size, we'll see who colonizes first

I've read that adding vermiculite to pre-cooked rice grains helps with clumping so that you can shake the jar properly once it's 30% colonized or so.

Thanks Munch, I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, I don’t log or journal anything on here. I used to take personal notes, but I’m currently working with proven clones that I’m familiar with. I know that APE tub was 1 of 4 clones I was testing back in February. Between working full-time, spending time with the family, mush cult, and cannabis cult, my documentation has fallen off a bit. I need a secretary. If you have questions about it, my growth parameters are always the same for penis varieties.

Yeah but it also ends up acting as an aggregate causing the fully colonized grains to be hard as a brick and a bitch to shake.

Those are awesome looking! Yeah I selected this iso specifically for printing it gives me perfect half dollar size caps making my life much easier. I have other iso’s of it that I will run when I collect for wash sheets and the capsize doesn’t matter
