Habitat: Found this specimen growing on a tree stump in Northern Nevada! (Pine I believe!)
Gills: Brown to Dark Brown colored gills
Stem: Length is between 5-8cm diameter is about 4-5mm color is white to off-white the stems seem to be hollow
Cap: Diameter is about 4-5cm, color off-white to brown,
Spore print color: I currently have a cap sitting on a piece of paper towel to take a print. I will update with a picture of the spore print and color tomorrow.
Bruising: Not sure how long bruising would take, but I have not seen any in the 20-30 minutes they have been sitting on my counter.

This is my very first post in this forum so please bear with me if I made a mistake! Currently have my first grow going well in my closet. My jars inoculated nicely and the mycellium has exploded! No bacteria visible

I can also provide more information if requested.
It is a high desert climate here. Altitude is about 4500 feet. Average temps are about a high of 85-90 with a low of 45-55. I cant actually remember the last time it rained here but it seems to be quite humid in the early morning hours.

Thank you kindly! Very helpful links there. Guess I shouldn't even bother with hunting in the wild and just stick to growing then.

You should definitely hunt mushrooms in the wild. It's way more fun than growing them, and all the nature stuff you see on the way is amazing. You won't find actives in Nevada though unless it's Panaeolus cinctulus on lawns.

Well I checked out those links you shared to me and I didn't see any psychoactive mushrooms within a 100 mile radius so unless I'm missing something, it doesn't seem feasible.
I'll definitely do some wild hunting if I ever go back to the east coast to visit my family though. Can't believe they are so easy to find back home and I never knew it!
