Thoughts that seemed so profound while tripping 1

I wrote down some of my thoughts to ensure that I would not forget them since they seemed so deeply pensive at the time. Here are a few of the highlights which are now more fit for "Deep thoughts... with Jack Handy."
So... enjoy a laugh on me... but please share some of yours too man I hope I am not the only one here who is this retarded.
1. "The trees are my friends. Especially these trees over here. Not those trees over there. I don't really know those trees so well. This one is waving at me! Hi tree!"
2. "I’m thankful for all of the other people who killed off all of the wolves and stuff that could eat me out here in the woods. They did it to protect their kids. You know? You want to protect your kids from stuff that’s bad and that’s why they hunted the saber tooth cats to extinction. That’s why they hunted the wolves away. They left room for us."
3. "I’m like a big huggable dad, and its my job to take care of my wife and kids. That’s my job. But its sure nice to sit out here in the trees and just reset sometimes! I gotta pee."
4. "Those mosquitos nearly got me good, but I was able to evade them. Some got in the tent and I smote their ruin, and they fell as the foes of my ancestors and lie dead at my feet as trophies of my power."
5. "My hands are like monkey hands, or the hands of an animal… but … the best animal. They are really good hands. The best."
LOL

Took a few tabs and was hallucinating that the flowers I was looking at were growing, dying, and sprouting again at super speed. Couldn't find the words to express the profundity I was feeling so I just drew a circle.

On my first trip I ended up staring at my PF tek jars babbling that I was tripping on mushrooms trying to grow some mushrooms so I can trip on them and grow more. On and on endless giggling gibber jabber. It made so much sence at the time...
-------------------- These things infected me... and now I have to grow them.

One that pops in mind is once when I had my first ego death trip (I have written about it somewhere here), I found I had recorded a voice memo to myself on my phone at the time. And I had a lot of what I would describe as profound thoughts regarding this trip and I remember many of them as I called my good friend right after I regained composure and we had a long discussion.
The recoding was me in this really serious voice saying over and over "free will is not free.
I do not remember making the recording nor how it should viewed in context to my other revelations from that night though.

These are pretty funny, haha. I've definitely filled pages of notebooks with similar thoughts while tripping. Sometimes I've taken some phrase away from a trip, like once it occurred to me that I am a "beautiful star child" and that phrase lingered with me for weeks, even though it seemed pretty cheesy in retrospect.
I recall Terence McKenna saying how all the most profound insights you can gain from psychedelics and from dreaming sound ridiculous, because language can't adequately capture them. He describes waking up in the middle of the night from an earth-shatteringly profound visionary dream, and running to tell somebody his insight before he forgot it. His insight was, "A song IS a song!"
-------------------- “Strengthened by contemplation and study, I will not fear my passions like a coward. My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Here is one sexual and informative in nature..
Vaped some Dmt and laid back on a bed. The body didn’t feel like my own and I slowly reached down below the waistline when a reassuring and knowing voice said “This is for reproduction”.
At the time it all seemed to make sense. Every aspect of reality exists for a purpose. We like to layer meaning on top of the meaning that already exists in nature. But underneath there is an intelligence that is ancient and more purely intentional.

Was bombed on acid late one night sitting at my basement bar with my laptop, I opened a text document and just let myself go into a kind of flow state. I'm if I still have the document, but its a series of dots and rising and falling ...zzzZzzzZzZZZZ.... Or something like that. The idea in my head was something like matter and organized life merely being highly condensed light and sound falling into and out of phase space over and over again.

On a similar occasion i wanted to try and draw/do something artsy on an acid trip. Got my supplies all laid out on my bar, got all ready to go, then I noticed the shadows from objects on my paper and thought "if I trace that shadow on this paper I bet I could make something amazing!" Needless to say, I checked my papers the next day and couldnt help but laugh at the shit I drew. Nonsensical scribbles and meaningless trace lines.

"Dear Quote Investigator: I read a wild story about William James, the prominent psychologist, educator, and philosopher. One night he experimented with the psychoactive gas nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas. While experiencing a reverie James became convinced that he had developed a profound insight into the universe. The next day when he examined the paper on which he scrawled his precious wisdom he read this bit of doggerel:
Hogamous, Higamous, Man is polygamous, Higamous, Hogamous, Woman is monagamous."
the story makes its point, but the attribution, like many is now debated
