Vague ID Request -Alaska Peninsula 1

I don't have much info but thought i would get some sort of idea?
Growing at sea level, Alaska Peninsula, late August.
no spore print, growing alone on a small stretch of "Dry" trail in the Muskeg.
I know its a long shot being so vague. Thank you for your time.

Yeah I would like to have seen the gills, the veil remnants on the cap look interesting as well.

No, i had already returned to Washington and my friend saw it a couple weeks later(Last week or so).

they where growing near what appear to be Hypholoma sp.
 and he got gill shot on those ones. He's learning.

I've never seen a Cortinarius with veil remnants like that, would be nice to here from the other TI's

k ill shut up. it looks like a lot of inocybe ive seen up there all these corts are reported from anchorage area https://www.alaskamycoflora.org/species-index.php#c-tab cotinarius index
inocybe species. there are a shitload of inocybes out there especially on the tundra. there are only two on this list but i have seen lots of similar looking species throughout the state. good chance randall's is undescribed https://www.alaskamycoflora.org/species-index.php#i-tab
