What are the ways to identify dried mushrooms?

May I ask? What are the ways to identify dried mushrooms? Something other than spore print. Like do the liberty cap edges curl when dry or not? Unfortunately, I did not send the mushrooms immediately for inspection as I collect them at night. Every opinion can help me for future hunting.

Possibly liberty caps, but identifying dried mushrooms is a gamble. I notice that many of the tinier species with conical or mycenoid caps will get that kind of "nipple" when they dry out, even if they don't have it in their fresh state.
It would help if you told us what habitat you collected them in. But as for now, just forget these and make sure you take pictures of your finds when they're still fresh. Best would be if you take pictures in situ, on night hunts you should use a flash, better still if you can hunt in daylight.

Microscope images of the spores is the only other thing.
I wouldn't mess with those things bro.

Tee pilt seenelehtedest.
Sry 4 others, I was writing in my native language to my native fellow hunter bc it was easier for me to explain.

Since dried mushrooms usually have mature spores, gill color is really helpful. The way the cap cuticle dries is also important, distinctive features come out that aren't visible when less dry.
These are probably Psilocybe semilanceata, but Psathyrella and Panaeolus are also possible. Either way they aren't toxic, and there's no reason not to eat them.
It would help to see a photo as close as possible and on a black background of the gills, with the light shining up into the cap.
