How often do you encounter BRF cakes that won't fruit at all? MS

Hi guys. So i have been wondering how often you encounter BRF cakes that won't fruit at all when using MS inoculation. I guess i could ask the same about monotub grows but it seems to me that most people use isolates for those anyway.
Thing is, i got some cakes going. Some of them fully colonized, consolidated and birthed. and some at around 95-99% Zero contams so far
I usually like to wait for in vitro pins before birthing, as that has proven to give better results then if i just wait out the 7 day consolidation period. Thing is, i got some jars that's been consolidating for 11 days now, and they show no signs of in vitro pinning yet.
I also birthed, dunked and rolled 6 cakes 5 days ago because i tought there was water pooling up at the bottom of the jars. Turned out to be nothing but the mycelium pressing against the glass. Anyway, The cake's in the FC shows no signs of pinning either, maybe some primordia but im not experienced enough to tell. Will be posting some pics.
I know 5 days are hardly enough to start to worry. But after reading like 100s of other threads where people can't get their cakes to fruit i started to wonder.
Is it common to get such shitty genetics by using multispores? Like ending up with 20-50% duds?

No, but it's common to get traces of bacteria and other contamination in MS syringes, often times that you won't be able to see. This can certainly stop them from fruiting. This is why agar is recommended to get a clean culture, you can have much success with MS syringes but you're always playing the luck game.

I always thought it was the opposite. That a bacterial infection kinda stresses the mycelium out forcing it to fruit to spread it's genes as a last resort. Wich is why you see half colonized BRF jars pinning way before they are done colonizing
Guess i was wrongly informed

That can certainly happen as well, it's just sometimes the bacteria wins before the mycelium gets a chance to produce any fruit.
