Hmm... something new.
Left is PF Redspore vs Mars on the right.  No black at all in the PF...just reddish purple print.

The PF Redspore was grown from a print that was babyshit brown...

Haha i made 5 trays of the same exact spawn testing different fruiting chambers and casings

3 contammed by month 2 in fruiting, one contammed right at month 3, and this one put out several pins which would grow a bit then abort. Caps doin a blotchy thing eventually.  Imma try  taking it outta the FC after i have pins and cut the humidity and crank yhe FAE. Still havent gotten one to open all the way up for printing

Did you do the zaps in your gh?

I still use mine for printing sometimes... or if I just need to make a quick swab to mail out... but if I'm doing any significant amount of work, I'm plugging the hood in.

I have other tubs where i used normal looking cultures and got normal looking results, didnt take pics tho

But for whats pictured,  i did serial streaks and then selected for the most rediculous myc i could, ended up with some batshit cultures.  I wanted to see if it would live up to its rep for weirdness

I’ve spent maybe a total of 5 hours in front of a SAB. After the first few times I instantly decided to build a hood. 24x24 filters are so cheap. Wood is where it gets pricey. Think I paid around $200 for my filter and blower the other 300 was wood and stain

Never forget our comrades suffering in the SAB trenches

I went way overboard on my hood. Love it tho, built in some cool features

I want to build a 6ft model tho, i outgrew my 24x24 long ago. Annoying doing bags. Not as annoying as that SAB bag life tho
