A lot of those black ones look pretty rotten...don't know how safe it would be to consume them

Pan cyans tend to turn dark black but still be edible. When i pick them i draw the line at slimy or has ANY smell that isn't mushroom.

Some of them were navy and had dried on the spot where I found them. They were also smaller from being dry. Seems like some naturally dry in the sunlight just losing potency yeah they last two days without drying them but making a tea can last. I wouldn’t dry them usually unless I had enough to save some

I found some more pan cyans There is also some sort of Amanita and a stump fungus Sept 28 12:45 PM
