Are these materials usable? This shed was used for goats it’s been about a year and a half since there’s been anything in there. There is about 16inches of hay in there. I’m assuming that I can use the better looking stuff. https://files.shroomery.org/files/20-39/074652809-07725479-A822-4A58-A64A-38A5AE9989EA.jpg] [/url]
I filled up my truck from a pile behind the local horse barn. I picked out Most of the big hpoos. What is left is kinda composted pine shavings, hay and poop. (Pile in the back) Can I use this material in mono tubs? Or just mix it in my compost pile? What can I do with this stuff? http://

My concern is with the pine shavings. They aren't going to help at all in terms of growing cubes. I've seen goat poo and powdered straw used before, but the person who did it had a handle on what the goats were fed. It's pretty well aged so my recommendation is to try and exclude as much of the pine shavings from the mass as humanly/reasonably possible if you try. You'll need to cut down the straw to small bits, which I don't have to tell you will be a mess. Most people on here will crabwalk and tell you to just go buy coir, but I want to actually answer your question, so... barring that... try to isolate the poo and straw, chop the straw at LEAST to 2-3" lengths, exclude as much of the pine shavings as possible, homogenize, bring to field capacity, pasteurize, and go for it. But it's a barrel of monkeys doing all that. I'm an off-grid individual myself, so I won't poo on your plan. Best of luck by the way. But yeah... the goat poo and straw will work. I've actually seen it with my own eyes as opposed to on the interwebs.

Edit: just reread OP and it's hpoo where goats were kept. Yeah no problem there either obviously. Many people use hpoo and straw which still leaves my response relevant in every other respect. . I read"goat poo" for some reason, which obviously there will be some, which is fine.

Thank you. One picture is a shed that is just full of old straw. There were goats in it probably not a whole lot of poop. I was cleaning the straw out so that I can make use of the building and I just figured that I could save some of it. I was just gonna take the chainsaw to it. It seems pretty clean so I figured it would be OK. The second picture is what I picked up from behind someone’s barn. Someone told me that they had horse manure I could come and get and when I showed up it was basically a compost pile so I Just filled it up and
