rapid acidification feedback
    #26942458 - 09/18/20 01:30 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

from an alternative perspective, knowing what you know, cuz i dun know, what is it that causes rapid acidification of your digestive system?  and what do voodoo do to rebalance it?

i have no choice but to rapidly flush my system, which is fine, but there are instances where it's too rapid for me to react.

it must be something hormonal or something that can permeate the environment/atmosphere, though I know it's schizo to propose that fact.  I'm sure someday there will be a measurement for that.

anyway, I don't want to lock it, I'll give myself diabetes.

what is that and how do i either block it or neutralize it, as close to instantly as possible?

Do you mean acid reflux?

If its not from puking in your mouth because of larry's pedo insinuations, its most often diet related. Many people complain that they get reflux after eating certain foods. Common culprits include items high in fat, chocolate, spicy foods, citrusy or acidic foods like oranges and tomatoes, mint, garlic, and onions, as well as carbonated drinks.

when I use to take a gram of gravol every night I had crazy acid coming up, I used baking soda to feel better, but dont take baking soda around meals cause you need your acid to digest food good

i have never taken omeprezole.  what does it do?  does it neutralize acid in your stomach and precipitate salts or does it affect your gall bladder or something?  i will have to read about it, sry it's lazy to just ask you isn't it.

iono, i consume exactly the same things every single day at almost the exact same times.  i do consume a lot of hot sauce and vinegar, and well over 2000mg of vitamin C, lemons and coffee...  but i do that every single day.  my absolute consistency is not parallel with inconsistent effects.  there is another factor at play here.

hm, i tried baking soda once a couple of months ago and was expecting that school science project volcano effect, like a plume of bubbles coming out of my ass, but really it didn't do anything.  maybe i didn't use enough, iono.

hmmm...  hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm...

i mean milk is pretty alkaline of course, and i drink that, you know...

i'm still wondering what the source is though.

Herein lies your answer. Omeprezole is the ONLY maintenance med I have to take for now. I got pretty bad stomach issues around late 20's and was taking tons of tums. I developed kidney stones from that use. Omeprezole is a wonder drug for my stomach issues.

Mechanism of Action
Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor. It inhibits the parietal cell H+ / K+ ATP pump, the final step of acid production. In turn, omeprazole suppresses gastric basal and stimulated acid secretion.

Get prescribed a proton pump inhibitor before you develop or have already developed GERD.

I think everyone including admins are most worried you and your colleagues will be the ones with hidden CP here. Either because you're into it or trying to slander. But rest assured there's automated reporting if you try

Phobia and outrage go hand in hand with secretively being into those things. So we're just trying to watch our back.

Both you and OP have a lot in common. We do keep around people who say disgusting things. This is a benefit for you too, that we're the on of the least censoring forums left on the internet

A guy makes a thread about, presumably, acid reflux.

Out of nowhere, User X attacks him with pedophilia acusations, keeps pommelling him with it and when a staffer steps in said staffer gets attacked with supposedly being a pedo apologiost and how raping children is fair game now because of that staffer, atop accusations against the site in other forums.

I don't know any moderated communities online where such insulting and community-undermining activities aren't sanctioned. If you are not just insulting members but campaign against the site, you're at least temporarily removed from it.

The Shroomery is no different.

Wow this got real interesting real fast.

OP eat tums.

Side note, I would respectively recommend reestablishing touch morality. People tend to make sexuality a recreation these days and eventually it leads to wierd things like I read in those links. Might be time to reevaluate bud.

NO! I ate them for about 20 years and it gave me kidney stones. Try to get a script for omeprezole, or the over the counter version works just as well.
Some of the kidney stones I had. The big one was stuck and luckily it came out before they had to "go in and get it" through a minor operation, fuck that!

sry i have had this thread in a tab on my browser for like days.

wow, i don't remember making that post.  i guess i'm not surprised.  that was 9 years ago..  let's see, i was either living in NYC with no job or working at a walmart out in the middle of nowhere because it was the only job i could find.  both of those situations kind of affected me.

i apologize about that.  i won't think these thoughts ever again.  i promise.

anyway, i will have to experiment with the omeprezole, that is OTC right?

i'm not sure about this acid thing.  i'm pretty positive it's like, a second hand effect of either some substance or hormones.  yes i know that is crazy talk, but i'm convinced of it.  i don't think it's simply an innate physiological problem in me.  i think there is an exogenous vector affecting me.

it's hard for me to tell if i am not eating enough, or too much.

what complicates it is the fact that i could probably go like a week without eating anything at all if i really wanted to, as long as i drink a lot of water.  it's funny because if i drink enough water, i just never get hungry.  i just don't feel the sensation.  maybe i'm just screwed up.

in parallel, once i start to eat a lot, like up the ante, push the envelope, my metabolism speeds up, and i process the food faster and get hungry faster.

SO, with that in mind, even if it were an exogenous effect of like, a heroin user or some woman with REALLY strong estrogen (i don't know anything about heroin or women, really), i consider the fact that i should flex into it instead of throwing a monkey wrench in the works.  maybe i am just making that judgement of "monkey wrench" because it's a pharmaceutical, which is unfair.

i was working in jersey for a while, and i was living in this guy's house who kind of passive aggressively punked me into eating very, very little food.  he had this adopted chinese kid living there with his weird chinese wife, and i thought i better comply because i don't know what the hell they were going to do to me.  so anyway, i was basically starving myself for months while also working on environmental cleanup sites AND going to the gym for like 2 hours a day.  i was getting sick pretty regularly, but i thought at the time in was some meth the site engineer was doing, or heroin or something.  it would happen routinely on friday afternoon and before holidays.

anyway, i moved out of that house and into another apartment and for some reason took up eating gallons of ice cream, maybe to celebrate my independence.  but definitely, i mean DEFINITELY, the ice cream helped.  instead of writhing in pain for a day, i could just piss all the acid away right out of my ass.  like hot acid.  jesus, talk about chaffing.

anyway, where was i going with this?  i guess i still wish i knew the source.  i did ask about how to neutralize it, but at the same time perhaps i shouldn't starve myself.

really, i just wish i knew what caused that though.  if i knew that, i could potentially do some more research and experiments and just figure out the best approach myself.  right now i'm just shooting in the dark, and i'm not in a position to just go sampling everything under the sun,  i take it there is a lot of different mixtures of X out there anyway.
