PNW ID - found in mulch
    #26942384 - 09/18/20 12:50 PM (3 years, 4 months ago)

Hey everyone, first time poster! I've found a possible candidate for a Psilocybe cyanescens, but it may be a dud. The pileus and stipe look close to expectations (to my untrained eye), but I was not getting any blue staining with this specimen. Unsure what to make of the spore print.

This was found in western Oregon growing in established mulch.

(I'm sorry if the pics don't upload, the instruction link for pic uploads is dead so I'm not certain if this is the right way)

Brown spore indicates a non psychedelic lbm.

Interesting stem texture.    I wonder if Pholiotina is a possibility here, or an obscure Agrocybe or Meottomyces.
