Aluminum Incubator

I welded this aluminum box to help maintain colonization temperature during winter. It only holds 4 jars, but that's all I really need.

It's powered by a small reptile heating mat, I haven't used it yet, but this winter I'll see how effective it is at keeping colonization temperatures up.

the one time I tried using a heating pad in a box, not even touching the jars, I ended up with just bacteria. But also didn't have an SAB or PC yet then, so it's just that.

The thing I've hear is "if you're warm enough, they're warm enough." Could you just keep them where you sleep?

I just had a joke thought that might actually work: mycelium pillow.
